A few visual improvements today:
A revival of my old archive of snooker stats is now live here:
nick007j.github.io/snooker-s…
Those who used to follow me for that purpose, are welcome. I will try consider making it more active again and add more data.
Rebuilt the DB with data starting from 2011 (from love-snooker.com), categorised by event.
Newer frames likely will be coming in nicer format like:
nick007j.github.io/snooker-s…
Hopefully, will be adding more stats for the data already present.

Absolute legend who played a huge part in getting millions of people to love an completely foreign game.
RIP
We are deeply saddened to learn that Vladimir Sinitsin, the legendary Russian-language snooker commentator, has passed away at the age of 74.
He inspired many millions of fans and players with his commentary on Eurosport and his distinctive voice.
He will be much missed by the snooker community. Our thoughts are with his family and friends.
Very happy to see Antek play at the Crucible, but here’s an obligatory piece of trivia about his early career
Took so much longer than it should have…

Kidding aside, I would seriously be worried about Lawler-Nussle match. Florian is different class from the rest of them. He will become a professional one day or another.
These were some seriously good shots considering the scoreline, particularly the second red of the break. Akani actually stole that frame
It really boggles my mind how we live in an era when an obvious fraud posts total nonsense that anyone with basic industry experience can sense from tweet 1, it gets insane amount of engagement, and he also doubles down on it and it again gets a lot of engagement.
Always nice to see beatiful WST user interface. When I want to check a draw for British Open, I get a very convenient output, which actually shows every player on one screen, no scrolling required! A bit difficult to read though but that's a minor issue.
Congratulations to 17 years old Latvian Artemijs Žižins who qualified to the main tour with probably best performance of all participants, scoring multiple centuries and finishing his qualification with a 88 break!
This is rather impressive. Surely he loses to Highfield now but still that's two very decent opponents comfortably beaten.

Draw and schedule for Event 1 of the Asia Oceania Q School:
thailandsnooker.org/news_det…
99 entries, just like last year.

In case anyone is interested, Sunny Akani decided to sign up for Asian Q School pretty much on the last day before deadline. Though he seems like to be more occupied with cues, family and health for last couple of years (but still won one Thailand national event in January).
Q School draw apparently was published today, didn't see any news about it but here we are:

I am still waiting, no better scoring since they are down…
