It’s making me sick listening to Neville and Carragher praising Man City on commentary. Absolutely fuck off.
They should both be slagging them and calling them exactly what they are; cheats. Instead they’re going on and on about how great they are. Read the fucking room, lads.

🚨 Chris Kavanagh's controversial refereeing decisions:
❌ 2022: Rodri handball vs Everton, no penalty awarded. PGMOL later apologised.
❌ 2023: Ødegaard handball vs Liverpool, no penalty awarded. Howard Webb later admitted it was an error.
⚽ 2024: Stones' late winner vs Wolves, allowed despite Bernardo Silva being offside near the goalkeeper.
❌ 2025: Van Dijk's goal vs Man City — disallowed. Independent PL panel ruled it should have stood.
🟥 2026: Gravenberch sent off vs Man City.

Game completely changed after the ref wrongly sent off Gravenberch, kinda like how the game changed after the Premier League wrongly sat and watched City blatantly cheat for the best part of two decades
#LIVMCI @prorefofficial well done. Manchesters Chris Kavanagh with a sending off that was never a sending off gives Man City (whose owners have been acknowledged to pay referees) a massive advantage and ensures their win. Well done. You know who pays for your holidays.

🔥 WATCH THIS: Paul Merson RAGING at Manchester City over their industrial-scale cheating, and the moments they’ve denied other teams, players and fans.
Merse is saying what a lot of fans have been feeling since the guilty verdicts. The cheating didn’t just help City. It won them the Premier League. He says there’s “absolutely no chance” they would have done it without it.
Without the ability to ignore PSR the way everyone else had to, they would have been miles off the top teams. They simply wouldn’t have been able to compete with the legitimate revenue streams the others were generating.
The players didn’t win those leagues, “them upstairs” did, by buying all the best players and building a squad no one else was allowed to match.
When Clinton Morrison tried to defend them (“they still have to go out and play, Merse”), Merson nearly exploded:
“OH COME ON! They had all the best players! They had two best players in every position and they dominated!”
Then he went further. Medals and trophies are almost irrelevant next to what actually matters. Life is about moments, and City’s ownership have taken those moments away from other people.
He pointed to Manchester United at Sunderland in 2012 — the day Aguero scored in the last seconds against QPR to clinch City’s first title, while United were left standing on the pitch at the Stadium of Light. That was at the height of the cheating.
“Life is all about moments and you’ve taken it away from other people. Them upstairs at Man City have nicked other people’s moments in life.”
Well put, @PaulMerse 👏

If MCFC fans or staff in the City community fear for their livelihoods in the event the club gets punished, that's 100% the fault of the those within the club that perpetrated the wrong-doing that earned the punishments that put their livelihoods in jeopardy. Target them maybe?

There is 1 ref based in Merseyside. He's never officiated Liverpool or Everton as he is not allowed.
There are 3 Manc refs. Taylor, Kavanagh & Tierney. They've refereed Utd or City 209 times.
After the Prem look into City they need to look into the PGMOL.

Michael Oliver isn’t officiating a Premier League match this coming weekend (10–11 October 2026)...
He has not been assigned a match for Matchweek 6..
I smell a rat here..
There is obviously a reason...

Premier League referee Michael Oliver was allegedly paid £20,000 to officiate a single UAE Pro League match in Abu Dhabi in September 2023. He refereed a game between Sharjah and Al Ain alongside English match officials Darren England, Dan Cook, and Stuart Burt.
Complicit. Coward. Cheat.
Nothing’s changed.
I want every single @ManCity fan to know I am here; more than ever. I am, always have been, always will, be behind my club, my owner, my chairman, Ferran, the players, staff, Enzo and you, our unique supporters.
Let me be clear: we will get through this together.
I love you all 🩵

De Bruyne for me, closest midfielder to Gerrard in terms of how complete they both were, but Stevie edges it for me purely based on the fact he won 1 more Premier League title than him.

🚨 Dortmund sporting director on the record about the 2022 Haaland sale:
“Manchester City never wanted the real number out. That was the first condition they put on the table. Not the release clause everyone printed. The full package.
Officially it was reported as £51 million because that was the figure written into the clause and that was the figure they asked us to stand by.
Internally it was a completely different conversation. When you add the guaranteed payments, the structured extras and what was agreed around the player’s camp, we were looking at something close to €250 million all-in.
That is more than PSG paid for Neymar in 2017. City knew that. We knew that. They did not want Europe talking about it.
They were very clear: if Dortmund confirmed anything above the clause, the deal would become politically messy for them. So there was a private understanding.
We stay silent on the real total. They stay silent. A few people in the media were steered toward the £51m line and that became the official story
I am not going to sit here four years later and pretend we sold the best young striker in Europe for pocket money. We did not. City paid what they had to pay to get him. They just did not want the world to see the receipt.”
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
There are no reports of Dortmund's sporting director making these comments on the record. Manchester City paid the €60m release clause in Haaland's Dortmund contract, reported as £51m. Reports from 2022 estimated City's total costs including other payments at over €200m.
