@AvantiWestCoast Your customer service this afternoon with the 14:14 and 14:34 trains from MCR to Euston has been shocking. We arrived 20mins early and took our booked seats on the train at Platform 5, which was showing on the display screens on the platform as our booked 14:34.
Your dispatcher, Lee, was on the platform and we asked what was happening because we had no other information. He gave us no more information or an apology. Jamie, his senior colleague arrived and explained the situation and that the 14:34 was running. He was very helpful indeed.

It is essential for patient safety that patients undergoing cosmetic, or any other surgical procedure, are treated by surgeons who have been trained, not just in the procedure, but in recognising and treating the complications and sequelae of surgery in general and the procedure.
What a major advance in the provision of breast reconstruction. If a patient can avoid the need for future surgery by using autologous tissue it is a blessing and it is also proven to be more cost effective in the long term. Well done Oregon! kptv.com/2025/10/15/oregon-b…

CBS STATEMENT ON JAMES GILBERT
Oxford transplant surgeon James Gilbert is eligible to return to work this month after serving only a one-year suspension — an MPTS sanction for sexually harassing female colleagues over a period of 13 years.
His case echoes the concerning findings of research which found 23.9% of sanctions involving sexual misconduct were more lenient than GMC recommendations, and just 35% resulted in full erasure.
