Lmaooo the players can deal with the fan pressure in Canada. The GMs cant. And no offense to my Canadian friends but all of this bellyaching about a star exodus sounds like sour grapes. Players would stay if the teams won. They don’t and haven’t and won’t until the GMs improve

81 only plays well with 55 - thats the problem. The Olympics and Four nations proved that. 55 will produce with anyone and make anyone better but 81 will just not score without 55. They need someone to get the 2nd line going. Who is it? No idea but it won't be 81.

Asked #NHLJets coach Scott Arniel if they’ve had talks about breaking up the top line with only 6 goals in 4 games as a team: He cracks a bit of a smile and says: “Same old question yep. Will we split them up…” “You know what I've talked to those two, and we’re 20th right now in scoring at five on five, and we're I think ninth in five on five against. So I'm not in panic mode here, but we're in five straight (losses). We've been in nine one goal games. So yes, I do need it. I like to tinker a little bit now that Mercer is here. I haven't had him. That was one game for him. So I’d like to tinker with some other lines first before I kind of go down that road.”
