What makes a small-college power conference? Excellence at the top and strength throughout its membership. In the last two years, EVERY member of @TheHeartConf has won at least one conference title in our championship sports. During that same stretch, our teams have won a dozen national championships. 🏆 That’s what makes this conference special. Teams compete for national titles while championship success reaches every campus. Proud to be part of The Heart… and proud of the student-athletes, coaches and institutions setting that standard. And that excellence extends to the classroom: no one had more scholar-athletes, too. 📚 #TheRightWayToPlay #TheHeartsWayToPlay #NAIA #CollegeAthletics

Great visit to @GUjackets last week. We had a 90-minute town hall with its athletic staff, heard valuable feedback from leaders of the Association of Student Athletes, and spent time with President Schrock. Great meetings!

Twenty-five years ago, I watched the events of September 11 unfold as a ninth grader. The images, fear and uncertainty of that day have never left me. We must continue telling the story, honoring those we lost and remembering those who answered the call. Never forget.

This is bigger than sports. A @WilliamPennU student-athlete went down with an injury tonight. A @GracelandU student-athlete asked the officials if he could go over and pray for him. Different uniforms. Competitors tonight. People first. This is the Heart of America Athletic Conference. What an incredible display of character and a powerful reminder of what caring for one another looks like. #TheRightWayToPlay

UM-Mankato is facing a $22 million deficit, and one of the major solutions being discussed is enrollment growth through athletics. For years, many public and Division II schools sold coaches on smaller rosters while privates and the NAIA focused on enrollment growth. That equation is changing. Enrollment growth through athletics is becoming one of the most important financial strategies in all of small college athletics. keyc.com/2026/08/05/minnesot…

It’s a big world out there. The world has a way of shrinking our dreams and boxing in our potential. Fight for your curiosity. Fight for your growth.

An instant classic, right now, on @UrbanEdgeTv in @TheHeartConf Final for Men’s Volleyball… @MVCAthletics and @ParkPirates now into the 5th set. Tune in! #TheRightWayToPlay #TheHeartsWayToPlay

Proud to host the first-ever Heart Shotgun Sports Conference Championships. We took this on because we believe in the sport in our region and wanted to create a championship experience student-athletes would respect — while adding common-sense collegiate structure to a sport that is incredible but also costly. Huge credit to Assistant Commissioner Madison Lantz for owning the planning & execution and to our coaches for helping bring the concept to life. Shoutout to Macie Albright for great media and content that student-athletes truly appreciated. #TheHeartsWayToPlay #TheRightWayToPlay

Quick trip to Florida to host the BOSCA Florida Regional Workshop — grateful to be trusted by @jimabbott33 to lead nearly 50 small-college athletic leaders from across the state in professional development. Reminded how connected this world really is. Great to meet @RavenFootballBC alum Jacob Scott (@NevcoSports) and reconnect with @wpuathletics alum Jenna Dolan (@MuscoLighting). Special to spend time on the campus of two of my closest friends, @DrewWatsonAD and @Brittney_Kellar. Relationships + collaboration = momentum for student-athletes everywhere. @smallcollegeath #BOSCAFlorida #SmallCollegeAthletics #Momentum
