Tax the rich.
Sounds great on paper.
But here’s one simple reality govt's failed to get.
The top 1% of earners in the UK pay nearly 30% of ALL income tax. Yes, a tiny group of 300,000 people is funding a third of the country.
These aren't faceless corporations. They're the risk-takers: The founders. The job creators. The people building the actual engines of the economy.
And right now they're leaving.
Projections show zfround 10,800 millionaires packed their bags in 2024. Another 16,500 are forecasted to follow through 2025.
Why? Because when you punish leverage and success, people just move the engine to Dubai, Italy, or Monaco.
If just 10% of them exit, it wipes £6.5 billion off the board. The money doesn't just appear from nowhere. When they leave, the bill doesn't disappear. It just gets handed to everyone else - people that could never fill that gap.
You can't tax a country into prosperity. You just drive the builders away.
I see so much resistance towards AI with organisation…still. The same trope that AI cannot replace complex or multidimensional human tasks is simply just not true anymore. Going back one year ago, it was true. Now it is not/
Revolut’s customer support used to be 5,000+ people.
Now 90% of it is automated.
Nik Storonsky says all companies need to rethink how many employees should be on a team thanks to AI:
“The team should not be 10 people anymore. It should be 2 people, 3 people at best, because 1 developer can do front-end, back-end, even data science.”
“The ultimate goal is to build a full-stack AI employee.”
“An AI employee which can join calls with you, has email, has a Slack account, has access to all internal back-office systems, and can do work.”
New issue: Most Bitcoin companies self-custody their coins and rent their audience. @SimplyBitcoin says at least 15 members of its team depend on its @YouTube channel for revenue. Not your list, not your audience.

What stalls more institutional deals?
A) Not enough proof.
B) Too many reasons to buy.
C) Fear of reputational risk.
D) No internal champion.

Write the committee version of your story before you write the website. One reason. One risk paragraph. One piece of third-party proof. Short enough to be repeated by someone who is not you.
The @USOCC reviewed debanking at the nine largest national banks. It found many restricted services for digital asset firms, often on financial-crime grounds. It could not quantify how many. Banks are cautious here. Your story should answer that, not skip past it.
If an investment committee chair had to explain your company in one sentence, what would they say? Is it the sentence you would choose? Reply with yours.
