OpenAI's October 20 API update reserves a 12-hour minimum prompt-cache lifetime for GPT-5.6+ models. The update recycles cached prompt prefixes containing shared instructions, tool definitions and reference context, but not the final model answers.

I am trying to crack his growth formula...
Work hard for days like these.🧿

An agent can sit idling for hours and reuse the prompt cache. On October 20, OpenAI added 12 hours of caching to the Responses API, but writes to the cache cost 2.5x input normally. Prompt structure and hit rates for long-running agents are now cost considerations.

Today, I have suffered a lot when after completing Darshan at PAMPA. Huge shortage of @ksrtc buses at pampa for pilgrim's. Even many people fought eachother and police remained silent. Please take care of us. 🙏

Everyone and their dog wants a GPU right now. AMD has finally announced that one of their CPU only options will be available as an AI rack. This allows up to 32,768 of their EPYC cores to execute agents while running inferences on other nodes.

1/4 A Git commit contains author and committer fields. But neither is necessarily indicative of who pushed a commit, unless you use GitHub's latest change that records durable, authenticated pusher attribution. This is important if human and machine agents collaborate.
An AI agent can write a commit, but who pushed it? GitHub now tracks the authenticated pusher separately from the author and committer (but this isn't an AI thing, it's more about infrastructure as code starts to ship real software). Authorship != accountability.

3/4 GitHub also added a repository rule called "committer must match pusher". It verifies that the email of the committer of a commit matches one of the verified emails of the authenticated pusher.

4/4 But for AI-assisted development, the bigger problem is accountability. I think a useful audit trail for an AI-assisted change should indicate not just who requested a commit, but which agent was responsible, who authorized the execution, who pushed the commit, and approved.
