A man who survived his darkest moments alone no longer fears losing people. He’s already learned that his strength doesn’t depend on who stays or who leaves.
Pay attention to how people treat you when you can no longer do anything for them.
It’s easy to appreciate someone when you’re benefiting from their presence.
Character shows when there’s nothing left to gain.
Walking away doesn’t always mean you stopped caring.
Sometimes it means you finally realized that caring about someone shouldn’t require you to continuously neglect yourself.
You can love people and still choose yourself.
Here’s a question that might make some people uncomfortable…
Are you genuinely happy with your life, or have you just gotten comfortable with what you’ve accepted?
Because there’s a big difference between being content and being afraid to make a change.
Better days are coming. You’ve been through enough. Now it’s your turn to be blessed.
Save this reminder!
One thing I’ve learned about growth is that not everyone is going to celebrate the person you’re becoming. Some people benefited from the version of you that didn’t have boundaries.
Growth doesn’t just change you. It changes who gets access to you.
Once you understand the power of your words, you won't just say anything. Once you understand the power of your thoughts, you won't just think anything. Once you understand the power of your presence, you won't just be anywhere. Know your value.
You want to know why I’m blessed? Even when my life had me at my lowest, I never stopped being a blessing to somebody else.
