For 24+ yrs, I had the privilege of calling Pete Cooper my mentor. I have no doubt there is a long line of us he poured into over the decades. He saw more potential in me than I saw in myself when I first met him at the age of 29.
He was a truly genuine & unique person. His family blessed our entire community by sharing him w/ all of us. His legacy of love, leadership & generosity will surpass us all, continuing to change lives for generations. I was immensely blessed by his friendship and belief in me.
I will forever be grateful for all he did—for so many, much of it behind the scenes. He will be deeply missed. heritagebattlefield.com/trib…
