how it feels when people are talking about how much they rely on it now and you genuinely don't use it for anything
So the people that are anti AI, do you like, not use AI at all??? Like not using it for generative art, and paying artists, I understand, but you're behinnnndddd if you refuse to touch it

So glad I don’t care at all about the Friday the 13th movies so I can watch my queen Linda Cardellini do her thing on my television without worrying about the “lore” or “cannon events” of the fictional man in hockey mask. ☺️☺️

Dumbest people on earth always railing that musicians shouldn’t speak on politics because their little baby brains short circuits if they have to think about something more complicated than “riff good” when at a concert. Two brain cell discourse.

Hung out in Bridgeport tonight w/ some Sox fan friends mourning the loss and some friends who don’t care about sports. Drank a couple drinks, had some laughs with friends. Bears-Packers ahead. Money in my bank account and roof overhead. Life’s good. South Side forever. Go Cubs.

In this era of artificial intelligence, it is becoming urgent to distinguish human art from what machines produce. There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. Algorithms lack the spark of humanity. For this reason, the Church wishes to renew an alliance with artists and cultural institutions to safeguard our humanity.

Last Cubs post before I go full Bears Mode. Main hope is they resign Seiya. Shame to let Ian Happ go, seems like he wants to be career Cub. Shota walks but anyone who doesn’t admit he was Cubs best pitcher this year is delusional. Trade Shaw and invest in Ramirez. Sign pitching.

The laughing cow doesn't even laugh anymore it just looks at you like this
The Laughing Cow has replaced its mascot’s smile with a straight face on some packaging The new packs read “We need to talk,” but the company says she’ll explain “when she’s ready”

Log on. They’re doing skull science on Lana Del Ray’s step children. They’re dooming about sports teams that have had successful seasons. They’re posting using slurs while invoking God to impose moral high ground over a young mother they never met who committed suicide. Log off.

Pic I just took of Alex Bregman arriving at Wrigley this morning. Note tape on side of face.

Shota Imanaga was Cubs best pitcher this year. Injury prone staff (massive understatement), he stayed healthy. Gave up bombs, but there was no one I’d rather see taking the mound consistently. Feels like he easily could have had five more wins if offense showed up on his day.

Digital world will have you at your 2nd job on a rainy day in mourning for a person you only knew in passing but liked, grieving vicariously through people that knew them best, reading comments from people with the emotional depth/range of a rock. Hell for the empathetic person.
