Because he'll say anything to try and get to a percentage in the polls to call a general election. And he wants to get there before people start realising what the budget will have to entail.

The plumber and £5 pint story of how much the government is rinsing everyone in taxes. It’s not the cost of living crisis, It’s the cost of government taxation crisis.

The TV weather forecast just used the term "widespread destruction". When did we have to start catostrophising everything? It's going to be windy. Some things will blow over. It's not abnormal for storms. Let's leave the term "Widespread destruction" for actual emergencies.

Statement result by #SaintsFC, getting 3 points away at the Hammers. Just 3 points off the second automatic promotion spot even with the 4 points deduction. If Saints keep on accruing points at this rate we should get automatic promotion. 🤞🏼.

‘Labour goes wrong when it follows its principles; we [@Conservatives] go wrong when we fail to follow ours.’ We need to be clear what our principles are; principles that are our foundations for preparing for government and governing. This is The Right Way👇🚀

Direct debit going up £40 a month and this cut will save £45 a year. Instead of policies to reduce prices, we have to HOPE that they get to grips with things.

I’m on a plane going home from Mexico and on it with Pac. 1 of my favorite people in the Wrestling. IMO the best Wrestler to come out of England since the 80’s and they were Rollerball Rocco, Marty Jones and Fit Finlay. That’s no knock on the incredible UK talent around today but I come from a time and style where being credible was part of the job. Pac is the only wrestler that when I see him wrestle I think he can beat me up and his wrestling is so much more aggressive and credible. Again, there’s brilliant UK wrestlers who I rate highly and am huge fans of but not as much as him. That’s just me and my opinion. Neville v Aleister Black from the UK tournament in Blackpool is one of my favourite bouts I saw live in the last 20 years. Last nights Roman v Penta rates up there with it. No need to argue as I don’t read comments.

Surprised I'm seeing places like @lbc report The King WAS "giddily elated" when Earl Spencer reported he SOUNDED "giddily elated". You can only right about what you percieve to be the case, not what you know to be the case. Earl Spencer, given his reported dislike of Charles, could have his prescription of that conversation clouded and embedded his perception into that memory. I believe his recollection of his perception to be correct, but I don't believe that his perception is necessarily one that reflects actual happenings.

All Elite Wrestling is saddened to learn of the passing of Andy Williams, aka The Butcher. A trailblazing musician with ETID and Atomic Rule, Williams made a successful transition into the world of professional wrestling and was incredibly respected by his peers both in and out of the ring.  Our condolences go out to Williams’ family, friends and fans.

What an awful outlet @ringsidenews_ are. If true or not, you pause for a moment to let loved ones know what has happened. Imagine a family member having to hear about a passing over the internet. Learn some empathy, compassion and etiquette.
We actually did confirm it. You people just didn’t want to cope

Xbox have got this wrong. The model they've chosen will push away players. I understand the need to monetise the platform but the balance needs to be made with building the platform. What @Asha needs to look at is more akin to a season pass. You want to encourage players who are valuable to the community but can't afford a console. COD season passes earn you "currency". If you compete the pass you have enough for the next season. The same should happen with cloud time. It could be linked to Microsoft rewards, or another method linked to MS account spend, but it's got to be better than the monetisation that's being proposed.
Xbox says “We’ll listen closely to player feedback before and after the change takes effect and share any adjustments we make.“ Xbox proved its willingness to react on feedback especially this year, so please keep your feedback coming! I’m not much of a Cloud Gaming user myself, so I rely on your voices as well. Personally, I think Game Pass Ultimate subscribers — Xbox‘ most premium costumers — need (much) more monthly hours in particular.

The zebra crossing might as well be invisible. All anyone wanted 10yrs ago was a city where cyclists weren't being killed on the roads. What we got instead is a city where bikes are now a bigger pedestrian menace than cars. A TOTAL collapse of municipal judgement & urban design.
London until quite recently was a civilised, law-abiding place where the locals prided themselves on things like respecting pedestrian crossings. What changed?

If @BBC bosses don't realise that local radio sport commentaries are their biggest asset, then they should not be in Radio. There is nothing more I value in the BBC than local commentaries and critique from @solentsport. Protect home and away commentaries with bubble wrap.
