The Dormammu loop doesn’t get enough credit for how fucking insane Strange’s growth actually was. He didn’t just gain more spells during that fight, he spent an absurd amount of subjective time getting killed by a cosmic being and coming back to try something different. By the time he walked out of that loop, he had something no normal sorcerer could realistically get that fast: experience.
it always felt weird that strange went from a total novice in 2016 to casually fighting a 4 stone thanos in 2018. until you realize the dormammu time loop wasn't just him dying. it was basically an infinite hyperbolic time chamber. strange didn't just annoy dormammu, he spent decades or centuries trapped in that loop doing nothing but practicing magic against a god. he fights thanos like a 1000 year old sorcerer supreme because mentally, he is one.

One wish on a cheap novelty toy ended up being the scariest thing in horror this year. Obsession takes it easily. It's the only one that felt completely new, and watching Nikki trapped inside her own body was the most uncomfortable watch all year. Crystal Lake comes second. It actually made Pamela Voorhees someone to feel for, it just dragged in places. Carrie's third. It looked great, but everyone already knows how prom ends. Backrooms is last. The vibe carried way more than the story did. Honorable mention to Zach Cregger's Resident Evil.
Which of these movies ACTUALLY deserves to be crowned Horror Movie of the Year? #obsession #backrooms #Carrie #CrystalLake

Emaline never got shot. She got shot at, and Adelaide is the most likely one who pulled the trigger. Emaline was only there in astral form while she and Carrie were dancing outside, so the bullet went straight through her and grazed Carrie instead. The gunshot broke her projection, and that's why she vanished into smoke. Her real body was miles away. That's why she only showed up for real after the house collapsed, and why she told Carrie she couldn't get there sooner.
i really wanna know how Emaline travels to Carrie, i don’t understand how did she get shot by her mum when her mother was at the prom but she was still miles away. Also how did her mom miss if Emaline had to be asleep to Astral project??? #Carrie

Tommy gets way too much credit for this. He only asked Carrie to prom because he pitied her. He felt bad and wanted to give her one normal night. Rita actually cared about what happened to Carrie after that night too. And she was a teacher, she didn't have to do any of it. So yeah it's Rita that genuinely cares for her.
Who treated Carrie with more genuine kindness: Rita, the teacher who tried to help her, or Tommy, the boy who gave her a chance at happiness? #Carrie

So Vision can die, but Ultron gets another shot at life? JARVIS sacrificed himself to save Vision, but that doesn’t mean every AI connected to Vision was erased. The real question is whether Ultron survived through a backup or was recreated from scratch. Because there’s a BIG difference between bringing someone back and creating a copy of them. Is Marvel going to explain this, or are we just ignoring the continuity problem? #VisionQuest
Someone needs to explain this to me carefully. We saw JARVIS sacrifice himself to keep Vision and the others alive when Vision was dying. Now I need an explanation of how Ultron is still alive when Vision technically died in Avengers: Infinity War. Where’s the consistency?! #VisionQuest

Clayface and Sandman are basically the same character with different branding, and I can't unsee it Both can reshape their bodies, change their size, and turn themselves into weapons. The only real difference is the material they're made of. One is living clay, the other is living sand. Same concept, different execution.
Why does everyone act like Clayface and Sandman aren’t basically the same character with different branding?

I think J.K. Rowling’s biggest mistake with Harry Potter was making Dumbledore’s treatment of Harry seem acceptable because he was trying to save the wizarding world. Dumbledore knew Harry would have to face Voldemort, but he kept important information from him for years. In Order of the Phoenix, Harry suffers because Dumbledore refuses to explain what is happening between him and Voldemort. Then, in Deathly Hallows, Harry discovers that Dumbledore knew he might have to die to defeat Voldemort. Dumbledore loved Harry, but he still made decisions about Harry’s life without giving him the full truth. I wish Rowling had explored this more instead of making it so easy for Harry to forgive and admire him. Another problem is how the story treats characters like Snape and Dumbledore. The books show that bullying and abuse are wrong, yet Snape spends years humiliating students and still gets a heroic ending. Dumbledore also makes serious mistakes, but Harry continues to see him as a great man. The movies make this even more noticeable because they leave out many details that show how complicated these characters really are. For a story that teaches us that our choices define us, I wish Rowling had questioned her heroes more. Saving the world should not automatically excuse the pain they caused along the way.
What is the biggest mistake that J.K. Rowling made with Harry Potter?

Maybe part of her still wanted to make sure her mother was okay, even after everything she’d put her through. Carrie was terrified of Margaret, but her emotions were so complicated that fear and concern could exist at the same time. That sudden change in her powers reflected just how torn she was inside.
Why did Carrie opened the door immediately after using telekinesis to shut her mum!? #carrie

Magneto’s bloodline and Ultron’s bloodline combining in one person is genuinely the most cursed genetic crossover imaginable. 💀

Clayface officially becomes the highest-rated comic book villain in history, surpassing even the Joker of Joaquin Phoenix. The way the film uses body horror to portray Matt Hagen is brilliant. We get to understand him on a deeper level by witnessing his struggles and darkest thoughts through these horrific transformations. They aren't cheap jumpscares or shock value, they are an essential part of the character study. The gruesomeness exists to reveal who he is, and his dark emotions fuel even more horrifying scenes. Are we looking at what could potentially be the movie of the year? #Clayface

Sentry struggling to bend John Walker’s bootleg shield is all the proof I need that he’s tiers below Superman. Marvel power-scalers spent years hyping this man up as having the “power of a million exploding suns,” yet his debut live-action feat is straining against a piece of military metal held by an ordinary super-soldier. Clark Kent moves tectonic plates easily, and sneezes away solar systems without breaking a sweat. The biggest issue with Sentry has always been his head. The second he faces real pressure, self-doubt, or an emotional breakdown, his entire power grid collapses from the inside out. Superman doesn’t just out-muscle him in every raw stat, he completely clears him in mental discipline and willpower. Sentry is an unstable glass cannon with cosmic-level hype and mid-tier performance. Putting him in the same sentence as Kal-El was always pure comedy.

Holding a human shape for Clayface is like someone flexing every muscle in their body without breathing. The second he falls asleep or blinks, his cells melt onto the pillow. He can't taste food, feel touch, or cry tears. He's basically trapped in biological hell
If Clayface can shapeshift then why can’t he just shapeshift back to his normal self and live the rest of his life normally?#Clayface

JARVIS, FRIDAY and EDITH act just like the people they're based on. Vision has all the original's memories but still can't relate to anyone. Now he's handing Ultron full control like he doesn't know what he's capable of. Are they dumbing Vision down on purpose?

BOOKS VS. SHOW: RHAENA & BAELA TARGARYEN In the books, Baela is a fearless dragonrider who fights in the Dance of the Dragons, while Rhaena’s story takes a different path as she eventually claims Morning, a rare pink dragon. In House of the Dragon, both sisters have the potential to become far more than supporting characters, but their personalities, ambitions, and individual journeys still need room to shine. They are Daemon Targaryen’s daughters, but their stories deserve to stand on their own.
