Because it is easier to make content on love and patience than to actually walk in love and patience. If you actually put in the work required to make marriage work (which is mostly dying to self btw) you will be reluctant to make a show of it.
The sport in his name did not let me figure out quick that it’s not about football

As a man, your scouting skills need to be top-notch. 😂
I’ve been investing in this academy player for years, and now she’s finally ready to start big games. But last week, I stumbled upon an experienced player who plays the exact same position.
Coaches and ex-players on the TL, how do I manage these two talents without upsetting the dressing room? 😂

My sister, where do I even start from?. I'm so emotional right now🥹
I only did what any human should have done. I just couldn't wrap my head around your tweet about having suicidal thoughts.

There is no way you’re carrying two big pythons with clothes and you won’t sense something wrong
If you even say one, I for believe but two?
I slept in the same room with two big python unknowingly.
During my NYSC days, I served in Ogidi, Idemili. If you know Ogidi very well, especially around Iyi-Enu Hospital, you'll understand the tradition. They don't kill pythons in that community. If you mistakenly kill one, you're expected to give it a proper burial, just like a human being.
My landlady had already briefed me about their culture, so I was always careful. But I never imagined I'd experience it firsthand.
One particular day, I washed my clothes, spread them on the fence and went to church. I returned at night and went straight to pack my clothes. Without checking them properly, I gathered everything and dumped them on my bed.
Unknown to me, TWO BIG PYTHONS were hiding among the clothes!
I slept on the other side of the bed. Each time I rolled over and moved closer to the clothes, I felt something cold against my body. I assumed it was just some damp clothes that needed more sunlight.
The funny thing? I slept comfortably all through the night!
It wasn't until the following morning, when I started sorting out my clothes, that I discovered what I had been sharing my bed with.
TWO HUGE PYTHONS!
I screamed so loudly that I eventually fainted. My landlord had to come and remove them.
Imagine sleeping peacefully beside two pythons all night and waking up to discover your roommates! 😭
Till today, I still wonder what would have happened if I had rolled over to the other side of that bed.
My second encounter was in my kitchen 😱

"Pregnancy is NOT a death sentence".
Since I've made jokes about the matter, I feel compelled to lay my own arguments also.
I will start with a defining premise:
Everytime a conversation pops on the timeline, I am rudely reminded that arguing on the internet is mostly useless. The internet arms everyone with an ego, even when obvious comprehension mismatch exists.
Gaps in knowledge, gaps in intellect, gaps in experience, gaps in comprehension - but same ego level. Arguments are useless.
Back to the conversation - again here I come with analogies:
"The Sky is NOT black" - This statement is indicating that the sky can be any kind of color but it DEFINITELY is not black.
"The Sky is black" - This statement is indicating that, of every kind of color that exists, the sky is DEFINITELY black.
-+-+-+-+-+++++++++++++
"Pregnancy is NOT a death sentence" - This statement is indicating that Pregnancy can be lifethreatening, can come with risks, can be complicated but it is not a death sentence. It doesn't in any way reduce the experience of the carrier.
"Pregnancy is a death sentence" - This statement is definitive and conclusive. It doesn't highlight the risk, it defines it as a situation where the definitive outcome ALWAYS is death.
That is a dangerous narrative, especially when peddled by health professionals - infact, the latter is more disrespectful than the former.
Feel free to advocate for better healthcare for women especially in your country & feel free to exercise your rights not to have children but stop perpetuating dangerous health tropes.
And while at it, please learn how to apply statistics.
If I say:
"Stop paying for tech courses. There are no jobs in tech" You will be a fool to tell me about your uncle's brother wife's cousin who got a job last week - because statistically, the job availability has dwindled drastically. If out of every 2000 tech newbies and 10 secure job roles, there are actually no jobs in tech.
Other variables constant, a woman is more likely to be pregnant, carry her pregnancy to term and give birth without dying than she is. Some of your mothers gave birth to a dozen.
So, instead of peddling pregnancy as a death sentence, advocate for better healthcare in your country. Pregnancy isn't the problem, the politics in your country is.
Again, I don't expect this unnecessary epistle to make sense to you if your entire internet existence is to seek new clothings on victimhood.
There are enough panderers on the timeline supplying you with that material - I'm not selling what you intend to buy.

We literally opened Gofundme for LAUTECH. An institution owned by 2 states, two states controlled by APC then and they couldn’t find a sustainable solution.
We were begging for people to donate to salvage our institution then. Don’t forget PBAT was the chancellor of the institution then.
What a disgrace.

I've wanted to make this tweet for a while - from the time Korty EO made that stupid video about Nigerian male nurses/doctors.
This new pattern of portraying Nigerian male doctors as predators will backfire - and it will be on the day of someone's emergency.
