If we suppress all discussion, all criticism, proclaiming "This is the answer, my friends; man is saved!" we will doom humanity for a long time to the chains of authority, confined to the limits of our present imagination. It has been done so many times before.

Large-scale disturbances (aka, coronal waves) during the filament eruption (and X1.1 flare) reported earlier. I know this kind of video is favored by some people, although its scientific value is TBD. This video at least tells us the disturbances were limited to the limb area.

Using my backyard telescope, it’s possible to observe incredible things happening in the Milky Way. This region of hydrogen was ionized by the star Menkib, who is likely responsible for the nebula’s shape.
This is formatted as a phone wallpaper, enjoy! Still posting these daily.
