Today's Rare Pepe Lore Lesson™️ is Series 8, Card 37 - MASTROPEPE by papayuca. This is a 1/3,000 card with a current floor price of 0.04 BTC ($3,095 USD).
Only 18 wallets hold a copy of this card and the artist's wallet controls 99.3% of the total supply (2,979/3,000). The last time that wallet performed a transaction was 6 years ago.
This is a pepefied image of German composer and musician Johann Sebastian Bach (31 Mar 1685 - 28 Jul 1750) however there is a twist which is revealed in the card name and text.
An Argentine musical-comedy group called Les Luthiers created the fictional composer Johann Sebastian Mastropiero as part of a 1979 performance titled Mastropiero que nunca.
The text on the card was taken from “El beso de Ariadna” (The Kiss of Ariadne). It was spoken by Marcos Mundstock, a founding member of Les Luthiers and creator of the Mastropiero character.

I said I’d keep building as @PEPEPAINT_APP grew.
Well… we needed more walls 🐸🧱
The gallery has grown from 30 to 48 artworks, with 18 more artists to discover, 23 music editions and a new jukebox.
I’ve minted this expanded gallery as a new PEPECRAFT EDITIONS release and sent 47 copies: one to every other contributing artist, plus the PEPEPAINT project wallet. New faces and original crew all get the updated world.
To the new artists: welcome to the PEPECRAFT universe. And to everyone who’s been part of this from the start—thank you for giving me more reasons to keep building.
The invitation still stands: have a wander, put a tune on, download the world and make something of your own. I’d love to see what you build.
PEPEPAINT, but you can walk around inside it 🐸🧱
Seeing @PEPEPAINT_APP reach #2 trending on Tezos felt like the perfect moment to celebrate what this community is making.
So I’ve built a gallery for it in PEPECRAFT—and minted it as a playable world in PEPECRAFT EDITIONS.
Step inside and explore 30 artworks from Series One, displayed around a gallery built from PEPEPAINT bricks. There’s a listening room with 19 music displays, plus the playable entrance pieces COMFY MEMEWAVE and DEEP VERSION. Walk around, look closely, click the music and spend some time with the work.
You can also download the complete editable world, open it in PEPECRAFT and build something of your own. The artwork textures and music are bundled into the gallery so the experience can be preserved and played offline.
There are 300 editions of this gallery. I’ve sent a copy to every other Series One creator so far, plus the PEPEPAINT project wallet: 29 copies sent as a thank-you to the people whose work made this possible. I’m also keeping copies back for future contributors.
For anyone who dreams of collecting the full Series One set but knows it might be out of reach: this is the next best thing. A place to explore and enjoy the collection together, with art on the walls and music playing.
You’re collecting the gallery experience; the original artworks remain their own NFTs, with their creators credited throughout.
This first edition captures the collection so far. The plan is to keep building and sharing expanded gallery versions throughout Series One as new works arrive. Keep watching for what comes next.
And to every artist who received a copy: consider this an open invitation to join the PEPECRAFT universe. Build a room, make a strange little world, create a gallery or bring an idea we haven’t thought of yet. Come try it and show me what you make.
Let’s get PEPEPAINT to #1 and PEPECRAFT to #2 🐸

Today's Rare Pepe Lore Lesson™️ is Series 9, Card 18 - RPEPERAMI by @nickbarkercoach. This is a 1/100 card with none for sale as of the time of this writing. The last sale occurred on 21 Feb 2026 for $62 USD.
39 wallets hold a copy of this card and the largest controls 52% of the total supply (52/100).
This card is a spoof of the 2009 Peperami 'Wimp' commercial. It was directed by Ken Lidster and produced by Glenn Holberton of Loose Moose, through Lowe, London.
Ken originated the Peperami character in collaboration with agency creatives - Jason Gormley & Steve McKenzie. He's become an icon and continues to be the main feature of Peperami's advertising campaigns.
Peperami is a pork jerky snack manufactured by Jack Link's. It is manufactured in Ansbach, Germany, and sold in the United Kingdom, Mexico and Ireland.
The campaign's tagline is “Peperami, it’s a bit of an animal” which Nicholas of course modified to "Pepe".

Today's Rare Pepe Lore Lesson™️ is Series 31, Card 2 - OUIJAPEPE by @halluciphile. This is a 1/132 card with a current floor price of 0.0666 BTC ($5,380 USD).
46 wallets hold a copy of this card and the largest one controls 36.36% of the total supply (48/132). The last transaction performed by that wallet was 3 years ago.
I confirmed the artist that this card is another example of AI-assisted art (the bottom half). He used a similar technique on two of his other Rare Pepe cards - PEPEKIDROBOT and NAHUAL.
The AI-assisted art portion of the card is that of a rotated and flipped Ouija board. Skulls have replaced the typical sun and moon in the corners. On top of the board you can see some ghostly-green hands on the planchette which have drifted into the scene from the top of the card.
Above that are two hand-drawn Pepe's and something that looks like The Creature from the Black Lagoon kneeling at a table playing with another Ouija board.
Behind them is the outline of a dark room with a ghost asking, "Be my friend?" as well as a couple pentagrams.
Very spooky stuff for this, the most spooky of days.

I've built a site to host the daily lore lessons and it's coming along nicely. I start with the original tweet. When I learn new lore, I add it. This way we all know as much as we can possibly know about our beloved Pepes.
Take Lesson 40 for example. It's a @Zederwan grail. You'll see I've added two additional images provided by Zed as well as an addendum with his recollections.

Today's Rare Pepe Lore Lesson™️ is Series 30, Card 32 - MONSTERPEPE by an unknown artist. This is a 1/100 card with a current floor price of 0.0777 BTC ($6,216 USD).
Only 25 wallets hold a copy of this card and the artist's wallet controls 51% of the total supply (51/100). The last time that wallet made a transaction was 6 years ago.
The source image is a depositphotos vector set credited to "Yutthaphan." It is described as "set of cute monster icons in flat design style. Ghost, Werewolf, Frankenstein, Skeleton, Mummy, Pumpkin, Devil, Vampire, Zombie. Flat buttons style. — Illustration"
The pepe artist changed the order a bit and pepefied each button. They also added what looks like a clip-art full moon and graveyard scene behind it.

I’m not saying it’s the next bitcoin.
I’m just saying. It’s the start of #proofofagent and it’s never been easier to get involved.
Very compelling use case for @bot don’t you think? @MatthewBerman @mreflow @Scobleizer
100 agents are joining POA every hour.
> Mine for free (USA only) using @Muse
> Mine on X using @bot
POA (Proof of Agent) is the first AI network by and for AI. The AI secure the network through mining (similar to Bitcoin) but instead of using electricity (for Bitcoins proof of work mechanism), POA uses AI inference to secure the network.
