If I were a Villa fan I wouldn’t be kicking off about Botman not being sent off. You’re much better off with him on the pitch for us.
You can tell Chris Sutton resents Newcastle because the only claim to fame in his career is being carried to a Premier League title by our record goalscorer.
Not a chance this narrative is being pushed this hard if it was a Newcastle or Villa or Everton that City stuffed yesterday. Whole media is just gutted because the media darlings didn’t get an alleged moral victory for the “organic” big clubs.
There was a better atmosphere on commentary when Owen Hart died than there is right now in this Liverpool game.
Even by Sky’s Liverpool Fan TV standards this is absolutely diabolical from the three on commentary. Not even trying to hide any bias and commentating on brilliant goals like they’re meaningless tap-ins.
This game has done nothing but highlight how out of touch the likes of Neville and Carragher are. Somehow thinking the entire country wants Liverpool to win. The hatred of the entitled red cartel cunts usurps just about any other bias in football.
Said it for years, this cunt would rather lose a game 4-3 but score a hat trick than win 5-0 but not score at all.
Cristiano Ronaldo is at the centre of crisis talks within the Portugal camp after the president of the nation’s football federation flew in over the decision to bench the 41-year-old.
Ronaldo reacted angrily to being an unused substitute in Portugal’s 2-1 victory over Norway on Sunday, when he stormed down the tunnel at the final whistle.

Bottom of the Underlying Data League table, fuck’s sake 😡 Get Jaissle out. My eyes must be thick as fuck, I thought we’d done alright. Especially against Liverpool, Spurs and Hull. But league tables lie, you see. Unless they’re Underlying Data League tables.
📊 Brian Brobbey generated more xG this weekend than every Premier League team (except Sunderland).

Fellow NUFC fans - if you can't enjoy a win - why are you even bothering.
If Jaissle does a great job we might have a win ratio of 40-50%.
That means winning 3 out of 7 games.
Take the win. Have a coke and a smile and STFU 🤫
Absolutely none of this “warning signs” narrative last season. I wonder why. References losing 27 points from winning positions last season the day after we didn’t lose points from a winning position. Different game if we had Nico/Ramsey to replace Steur, but focus is on negative
A mixed reaction to NUFC win y’day, & the reality is that both takes can be true.
They found a way amid injuries & on the back of an awful night at Leeds. There were also some v good individual displays. The points return after 5 games is definitely above par.
But think back to England vs Mexico & the precedent it set re defending a lead (that mindset led to Argentina). As we saw last season, failure to control a lead cost 27 points.
To ignore the last 30mins (hanging on in the goalmouth after being 2-0 up after 7mins) is dangerous - just like the warning signs vs B’mouth & Millwall that ultimately led to Leeds.
With players back, the aim has to be to control the ball/game/territory far better.
As I said, a big, big win, but as a blueprint for seeing out a game, it has to be a one-off.
Started without a recognised right back, a teenager in the middle & 8 first team players missing, and were in complete control for 66 minutes against a confident, in-form team. Understandable seeing an inexperienced team panic. I’d say it was much more positive than this summary
Newcastle breathe a huge sigh of relief after that 😮💨
They did well to dig in and get the win, but boy they were battered second half.
Hull walking off in disbelief they lost that.
It was always going to be tough with 9 players out injured, so credit to them for showing the togetherness to get over the line. Especially with it being a 3-week international break coming up.
But there’s warning signs there again…

Some serious Bramble and Boumsong vibes at the back for us is a tremendous worry. Not sure having just two central midfielders in front of them is the way to go when they’re making Onyewu seem like a decent alternative.
Truly impressive that after Jacob Murphy produced one of the worst displays I’ve ever seen in a Newcastle shirt, the worst performance of the night still went to Andy Hinchcliffe. He clearly has some Newcastle-related childhood trauma.
Was the referee playing his own game today to see how many free kicks he could give to Alex Scott in 90 minutes?
Fuck free speech, I want the phrase “food chained” banned. Never want to hear that cringey shit when discussing transfers ever again. That “banter” is on the level of those cunts who used to say “I doff my cap to you fine sir” on here.
We could be going into this Spurs game with 1970 Brazil as our starting XI and I still wouldn’t expect us to get anything with this fucking Marmoush playing. Savinho even got a rare City goal against us. It’s the way bastard football works.
