Georgia fans talked all week about how much Kirby loathes his rivals and will run it up. Now it's another game 😂😂😂
Kirby on loss to Auburn… “Auburn played better than us today. Executed better than us today…. At the end of the day we pick it up, everything we want to do is in front of us. I know it’s a big deal to other people but it’s just another game to me… I always say humility is a week away… Every week in this league is a war. Anyone can beat anyone.”
Why did you use Jeff Sagarin's conference ranking and not just the overall ranking. What was Oklahoma State in the poll?
I since some bias here
For those who voted no...
1) Are you prepared for Acuna to walk out the door in two years after the Braves pick up his team options for 2027 and 2028 - just like Freddie, Dansby and Max did?
2) Do you actually think the Braves would, for example, sign Acuna to a long-term extension, let's say, doubling his contract to $34 million per season for at least five years?
3) Acuna has been in the big leagues for eight seasons. In only two of those seasons has he played in more than 119 games. Do you feel as he gets into his 30s (he'll be 31 when a new contract kicks in for the 2029 season) Acuna will stay healthy and play over even 140 games a season?
4) Do you feel "running it back" with the same nucleus is going to put this team back in the World Series. Before you say "trade Riley instead," know that Riley is signed for 6 more years with an option for a 7th season. Olson is signed for 3 more years with an option for a 4th. How will this team change if Acuna, with two more years left, is not traded?
