Is it a bad April Fools joke or did @NottmCastle really light up Nottingham Castle to promote #antiracism while continuing to gaslight & ignore issues raised by Black & Asian staff even after they spoke out about mental health & a culture of fear? #Heritage #arts @HeritageFundUK
Ducal Palace @NottmCastle lit to promote #antiracism

Professionals have been looking at Nottingham Castle with serious concern for months. @NottmCastle @CVAN_EM aren't the only ones.
CVAN EM has written to the Nottingham Castle Trust Board of Trustees following a period of ongoing & growing concern for the impact that their actions are having on the arts and culture sector in the region. You can find the letter & public petition here - bit.ly/3lu87pj

Sites like this succeed when they engage with local residents, whether through appealing pricing structures or simply by communicating. That the Castle appears to be failing in both respects is likely why entry figures are what they are reported 👇(short🧵1/n)
