A long way to go, but the fact that Washington might be passing one of the most conservative anti-trans bills isn't jiving with all the other results in the state. Clearly people didn't take the time to understand how bad the bill was.
The rich use labor in the Global South for this very reason: it's the closest to slavery they can get.

Literally why we have tipped wages.
Employers wouldn't hire formerly enslaved persons after the Civil War but said they could work for tips. Tipping is a vestige of slavery. It encourages harassment and sexual harassment.
Tipping needs to be abolished. Living wages for all.
