They said African languages were too fragmented, too complex and too commercially insignificant to build advanced AI for.
We disagreed. So we built it.
64 languages. 166 voices. 3 billion parameters. ONE model.
Today, we are unveiling STORM-Ensemble 3.0, the most capable multilingual speech synthesis model we have built at PlotWeaver.
From Yorùbá, Igbo, Hausa and Nigerian Pidgin to Swahili, Amharic, Wolof, Zulu, Xhosa and dozens more, STORM-Ensemble 3.0 generates speech across 64 languages, with 166 distinct speaker voices.
Every voice you hear is generated by our model, not a prerecorded sample.
But the real breakthrough isn't the numbers.
It's what becomes possible when this technology is in the hands of people who can build with it.
-African filmmakers distributing stories across languages.
-Banks and telcos serving customers in their mother tongues.
-Education platforms reaching more children.
-Developers building voice AI products without starting from scratch.
We are not building AI for African languages simply to prove it can be done. We are building the infrastructure to make our languages commercially viable at global scale.
Next week, I will be speaking at the Commonwealth Business Forum in Antigua about unlocking the Commonwealth's creative potential. This launch is a practical demonstration of that ambition.
Africa must not simply consume the future of AI. We must build, own and shape the infrastructure that powers it.
Watch the video. Listen to the voices. Imagine what's possible.
Introducing STORM-Ensemble 3.0.
PlotWeaver. Build Once. Speak Every Language.

My life is not necessarily harder because I have ADHD
Life is harder because I am neurodiverse in a world designed for neurotypical folk.
What we don’t need, is neurotypical folk then coming along telling us our neurodiversity is made up.

This year so far, nearly 1,400 books have been borrowed through our @ReadForGrowth community libraries.
Most of our library users are young, with 55% aged 11 to 13. We also registered 138 new members who hopefully will become regular users of our library services. It's awesome.

⏳Maybe you managed to watch a short clip last week - a reminder about building your Akhirah. But since then?
You’ve spent the rest of your time building your brand. We all say it’s “career growth,” but deep down, it’s money and fame we’re chasing.
🎥 In this explanation of Imam Ibn Rajab’s treatise Dhamm al-Maal wal-Jaah, Ustadh Abdulrahman Hassan shows what that chase is really costing you: youtube.com/watch?v=1BBJB2Us…

🌙 What They Never Told You About Islam
❓If a non-Muslim asked you, “Tell me something about Islam”… would you know what to say?
If you’d struggle to give an answer that leaves them silent and thinking, it means you haven’t yet realised the greatness of Islam.
Most of us were never shown the virtues of this Deen - qualities so practical and powerful that if we knew them, we’d stand in awe of Allah’s legislation and never feel apologetic when people question our religion.
This Friday, join Ustadh Abdulrahman Hassan for a lecture that will uncover these virtues, rekindle your love for Islam, and make you grateful to be a Muslim.
📍 Venue: Darussalam Masjid, West London
⏰ Date & Time: Friday, 12th September, 7:30 PM (UK Time)
🎤 Speaker: Ustadh Abdulrahman Hassan

🌅 Instead of saying the adhkar upon waking, you scroll through Reels and check Instagram. And guess what? Parents’ WhatsApp is still unread. You post a Qur’an clip, then keep checking who viewed it.
When you pray, it feels like someone rushing not to miss a flight. By the end of the day, you’re left wondering why the sweetness of Iman isn’t there.
🎥 Ustadh Abdulrahman Hassan shows the way back. Watch here:
