4/5 Because of her, I had a role model who demonstrated accountability, professionalism, dignity, kindness, attention to detail, and competence. Someone to emulate and learn from.

5/5 Retired but not forgotten, a female leader with an important perspective and voice at the table. Measured and pragmatic. A paramedic, a deputy chief, a mentor, a friend, and a leader.

1/5 In paramedicine, many can point to someone who shaped their path. Through OAPC’s Women in Paramedicine Leadership work, we’re raising awareness and recognizing that impact through our “Because of Her” social media campaign.

To ensure urgent 9-1-1 patients receive care sooner, our government is continuing to implement the Medical Priority Dispatch System across the province, including in London, and is accelerating progress to implement the system at remaining sites over a year ahead of schedule.
The Medical Priority Dispatch System (MPDS) has officially launched at the Central Ambulance Communications Centre in London! This state-of-the-art system helps to better triage 9-1-1 calls so paramedics can be dispatched to critical patients faster.

Thanksgiving weekend can be busy when preparing dishes and getting ready for family and friends. 🦃🍂 While cooking on the stovetop, stay in the kitchen and focus on the food. Unattended cooking can quickly lead to a fire. Keep fire safety on the menu—never leave your pan unattended. 🍽️🔥 #happythanksgiving
