What does reconciliation look like in a school? 🧡
It can begin with listening to a Residential School Survivor. Asking questions. Learning from Indigenous voices. Sharing stories. Or creating an orange heart with a younger student.
Throughout Truth and Reconciliation Week, students and staff across the OCSB took part in meaningful learning about Indigenous histories, cultures and perspectives, the ongoing impacts of the Residential School System, and our shared responsibility towards reconciliation.
From Notre Dame, to St. Anne, to St. George, see how students are listening, learning and carrying these conversations forward. 🧡

It’s deeply concerning that someone with such power in the United States can publicly body-shame a young cadet. This isn’t leadership, and it shouldn’t be normalized. What has happened to America? @PeteHegseth

🎒 Welcome back to all students, teachers, school staff, bus drivers and our amazing Crossing Guards! 💛
As school zones get busy again, drivers: SLOW DOWN and STAY ALERT! 🚸
Stop for Crossing Guards and remain stopped until everyone has safely cleared the crossing.
Excited to be running for my 5th term as the @OttCatholicSB Trustee in Barrhaven | Riverside South | Findlay Creek.

🎒 Back to school is almost here!
Take some time this week to practice the route to school, review safe crossing habits and remind kids: heads up, phones down! 🚶📵
And next week, our Crossing Guards will be back at their posts! 💛
