This is how Baroness Cash's speech in the House of Lords debate on VAT and independent school fees ended:
"I support the call for a review into this policy. To add one last thing, I can reassure my noble friend, Lord Black that we will, and have pledged to, repeal this policy."

Kemi Badenoch is right, this tourism tax will damage staycations and punish British people. The tax will put many off visiting areas and staying overnight, that will then impact the pubs and restaurants.
With Labour, it’s all tax, tax, tax.

Remembering the late, great Dolly, who brought joy, comfort and inspiration to so many - including the millions of children given free books through her Imagination Library. We will always ❤️ you.

Rachel Reeves was so excited to be the first female Chancellor- however she has let us females down badly. She is totally incapable. Everyone is dreading the budget on 26th November.

A great afternoon of rugby for our u16s, in a competitive fixture vs Kings.
Plenty of great moments across the squad, with superb team tries finished by Escott, Smart and Walker. Great teamwork and energy throughout the whole game. 🔵⚪️

Taxes about to go up AGAIN!
HOW has Rachel Reeves still got a job?
She is DESTROYING the economy.
Worst Chancellor of the Exchequer in history.

Please send your love and support to 16 year old Skye Stout from Scotland, and don't let the ignorant bullies win. Yesterday, the official page of the Scottish club Kilmarnock women's team announced that the club had signed a contract with 16-year-old midfielder Skye Stout. A grassroots player signing her first pro contract, should have been a moment to cherish for her, however Skye was forced to endure ridicule from ignorant and disrespectful fans who began to humiliate her over her facial acne.
Things escalated to the point where the club decided to delete all posts mentioning Skye Stout in an effort to stop the bullying from haters.

Piers Morgan was right.
Labour’s destructive schools policy has unfolded exactly as he predicted more than a year ago.
@piersmorgan
Piers Morgan to Wes Streeting:
“It’s the worst kind of politics of envy”.
Watch as Morgan takes down Labour’s flagship policy of destroying independent schools with a destructive tax grab.
A perfect critique in barely 1 minute.

Over 13,000 pupils left the independent sector in the year to January, when VAT was added to school fees.
That’s over four times as many children as the government predicted.
We will continue to monitor the trend in pupil numbers.

Well done to the boys who represented NSB as we hosted the Tyneside Schools golf competition at High Gosforth Park. The boys battled hard in warm conditions and played some excellent golf to finish 4th overall.

Since the launch of the used uniform shop, the NSB Parent Association were able to support the music department in their pursuit of a new piano. Ms Jones and the boys are extremely grateful for this contribution and the enhancement it has provided to music lessons!
