reports of a large wolf, seemingly a werewolf, surged through the area but most were shrugged off as a costume. it was halloween night after all.
it was, in fact, not a costume. he'd let the wolf out for the night and it had been scaring people all over town.
together they were a brute force, alduin's own aim was precise after centuries of war time and hundreds, most likely thousands of battles.
the gate to the compound was breached easily, the team keeping in step with one another as they moved toward the building at the center -
the flight wasn't the shortest but not terribly long either. the location was a compound outside the city on farm land not heavily traveled. he made sure his weapons were loaded, expecting a heavy fight.
the helicopter landed outside the compound, already coming under fire. -
he would have expected nothing less from her to silently join, it's why he's got the small camera on his helmet so she can keep up with it all.
his team moves as one to the helicopter, the element of surprise on their side with the targets unaware to their hideout being found.
a quick message is sent to @amorpatris as he's quickly grabbing his gear and getting his team together. [we got a lead from the track, loading the chopper now.]
a frown but not of disappointment towards her. there were plenty of things in the universe from time and space to some abilities of time lords and everything in between that were confusing. โunfortunate but, understandable.โ

underestimated the gravity of what had happened to say the least.
now that had his brow furrow in confusion. โwhat do you mean?โ perhaps he wasn't quite sure he'd been through something similar.
he smooched jack's nose, his jaw before resting his forehead against the captain's. โin every regeneration if i'm not by your side i'll find you. i promise you.โ
alduin let out a hum as he smiled, taking a moment to really look at jack. this regeneration hadn't known such affection until he'd found the immortal again and it made warmth bloom in his chest.
he sits down next to her, mindful of the glass but not too worried. it had broken in big enough chunks it was mostly visible and easily avoidable.
