A man with ALS asks Grok Bot to search YouTube, using his thoughts through Neuralink.
“Hey Neuralink, find me a video on YouTube about feeding my Chihuahua dog.”
Neuralink’s team built a prototype that turns his intended speech into commands for a Grok agent, which can carry out tasks on a laptop. ♥️

Neuralink is helping a man with ALS speak over the phone, type on an iPhone and use Grok, with his thoughts.
Engineers spent 72 hours at his home, building and testing new features alongside him.
Here’s what they worked on:
• Automatically detecting when he tries to speak, reducing the need to press buttons.
• Turning intended speech into text inside iPhone apps.
• Sending speech generated from his brain signals directly into phone calls.
• Starting speech through the app without unlocking his phone.
• Prototyping a Grok AI agent that performs computer tasks after he thinks “Hey Neuralink” and gives an instruction.
One moment meant especially much: he and his wife joking together over the phone again. Their relationship had started with phone calls.
Incredible work by Neuralink, helping people regain a voice, greater independence and everyday moments with the people they love. ♥️

Today at Giga Texas: checking out the new warehouse on wheels on the west side near Tesla Road.
This is clearing space for the east warehouse on wheels so construction can continue on the Advanced Technology Chip Fab … including the geopiers work going in on the W side of the fab facility.
Also spotted two refreshed @tesla_semi parked at the new warehouse. Looks like Tesla may be starting to use them to move trailers.
Cool to see all the activity happening here today.

Legacy media will never run this list, so I will.
2018, Flint, Michigan: Elon funded filtration systems for schools with unsafe water. Over $480K.
2018, Thailand: SpaceX engineers built a mini-submarine within days to help rescue a boys' soccer team trapped in a flooded cave.
2020, COVID: He sourced and delivered ventilators and supplies to hospitals for free.
2021: He gave Tesla shares worth about $5.7 billion to charity.
2021: He funded a $100M XPRIZE for carbon removal, one of the largest incentive prizes ever.
2022: Starlink kept Ukrainians connected when their networks went down.
2022, Tonga: Starlink helped reconnect the island after a volcano cut its undersea cable.
Wildfires, hurricanes, earthquakes: Starlink terminals keep showing up for rescuers and families.
And the biggest one, the one that's easy to miss: he's spent his fortune and 20+ years building clean energy, safer cars, and a future for humanity among the stars.
They call him a villain. The record says otherwise.

When @Starlink helped rescuers evacuate a critically injured parent from a remote Utah canyon.
The parent fell nearly 80 feet off a cliff, then tumbled another 50 feet.
There was no mobile signal. The rescuers faced unreliable radio communications on the ground.
A helicopter brought in a portable Starlink unit. Communications improved dramatically, helping the team coordinate the evacuation to a trauma centre.
This is why Starlink matters. Everyone deserves access to a connection that could save their life.

A U.S. senator posting "INVESTIGATE ELON MUSK." with no crime attached is not oversight. It's a target list.
In free countries you start with a crime and look for who committed it. Starting with a man and then searching for a crime is how the darkest regimes in Europe's history worked.
And since we're talking about records: in 2020, as California's top election official, Padilla's office signed a $35M "Vote Safe California" contract with SKDKnickerbocker, a firm tied to Biden's campaign. The state controller refused to pay it, saying his office didn't have the budget authority.
Elon builds rockets, cars and satellites. Some politicians build investigations. I know which one is making the world better.

Starlink is helping keep civilians safe and connected in Ukraine.
VEON CEO Kaan Terzioğlu says Kyivstar integrated Starlink to overcome the limitations of ground networks during war:
“It provides the safety and security for civilians and it will continue doing so.”
The sheer fucking hypocrisy surrounding Elon Musk is breathtaking.
For decades, billionaire-funded foundations have financed advocacy groups, political campaigns, legal organizations, and efforts to reshape public policy.
George Soros is one of the most prominent examples.
And somehow that influence is routinely presented as enlightened philanthropy.
Then Elon Musk enters politics, spends openly, challenges powerful institutions, and suddenly the entire establishment discovers the dangers of billionaire influence.
Give me a fucking break.
The man has built companies that launch rockets, connect the world through satellites, manufacture vehicles, and advance technologies with enormous implications for humanity.
His long-term ambition is to make civilization multiplanetary.
He has a profound personal interest in a future where technological progress remains possible.
You can disagree with his politics.
But pretending he’s just another billionaire looking for influence ignores the extraordinary scale of what he’s actually trying to accomplish.

When @Starlink became a lifeline for a mother and her baby in rural Colombia.
Karina, 24, was facing a high-risk pregnancy after previously losing a baby. Reaching town from her remote community could take two days on horseback.
A visiting doctor brought a portable Starlink terminal and an ultrasound machine. Through Starlink, a specialist hundreds of kilometres away watched the scan live, guided the examination and identified the need for an immediate hospital transfer.
Karina reached the hospital in time. Her baby was born safely, and she had no complications.
Starlink brought specialist medical guidance into a home far from the city and helped a mother get urgent care.
This is why Starlink matters. It connects people to help when lives are at stake.
This lifesaving technology should be available in every part of the world.

There have been so many small micro updates to FSD v14.3 over the past few months it really makes me wonder were we are on the path to v15.
Many small updates makes me wonder if we will be on this version for a quite some time. In past years when the number of small updates continued for a long time, it was an indication that they were committing to it spending resources on a current version while the larger version was still being baked.
Perhaps with larger expansion of the @Robotaxi fleet waiting on a Robotaxi version of v15, consumer vehicles could be on v14.x until early next year.
Just speculation, but every time I get a small update on this version it makes me feel like they are continuing to commit resources to this version rather than move on.

When @Starlink helped save a man’s life during emergency surgery in rural Zimbabwe.
A young man suffered severe burns to his leg after falling into a cooking fire during a seizure. His parents spent hours helping him reach a remote hospital in Chisizya.
Dr. Mike Jeans needed to perform an emergency operation he had never done before. Using Starlink, he called a colleague in South Africa, who guided him through the surgery.
The operation succeeded. The patient was transferred by ambulance to a larger hospital. MATTER, the charity involved, reported that he survived and was recovering.
Starlink connected a doctor to lifesaving medical guidance when his patient needed it most.
This is why Starlink matters. A working connection can help save a life. This lifesaving technology should be available in every part of the world.

Elon Musk’s message today is the same one he shared 3 years ago. He wants peace and an end to the killing.
“The reason I proposed some sort of peace a year ago was because I predicted pretty much exactly what would happen, which is a lot of people dying for basically almost no changes in land.
And the loss of the flower of Ukrainian and Russian youth, and we should have some sympathy for the Russian boys as well as the Ukrainian boys, because the Russian boys didn’t ask to be on their front line, they have to be. So, there’s a lot of sons not coming back to their parents, and I think most of them don’t really have, they don’t hate the other side. It’s like young boys who don’t know each other killing each other on behalf of old men that do know each other.”

A parked Tesla recorded footage that will help police investigate a reported attempted stabbing.
Police issued an alert after a reported attempted stabbing in Jackson. TeslaCam footage from a car parked at the scene shows the suspect following another man with a knife at his side.
This is why Tesla’s cameras deserve more credit. Even while parked, a Tesla can capture valuable footage that could help police investigate serious incidents.
In another case reported last month, Tesla footage helped save a driver from potential jail time after police arrested him at gunpoint for allegedly fleeing a traffic stop.

Everyone said "Hey Grok" was impossible on iPhone. Even Grok said Apple keeps wake words for Siri only. So I kept digging, and I found a way. Now I just say "Hey Grok" and Grok Bot voice chat opens. No extra apps, no cost, all built into iOS.
How to set it up:
1. Make sure your Grok Bot app is up to date
2. Shortcuts app → + → Add Action → search "Grok Bot" → pick "Start Voice Chat with Bot"
3. Settings → Accessibility → Vocal Shortcuts → Set Up → pick that shortcut → type "Hey Grok" and say it 3 times
4. In the shortcut's details, turn on "Allow Running When Locked"
If your phone is locked, iOS asks for one tap first. If Face ID already unlocked it, it's fully hands-free.

Elon Musk and SpaceX have supported Ukraine from the beginning, and this clip explains just how much that support mattered.
Starlink became the communications backbone of Ukraine’s government and essential services, including first responders. When Russia jammed everything else on the frontline, Starlink was the only system still working.
Not just one of the options. The only thing that worked.
At the time of this interview, Elon put SpaceX’s support costs at roughly $100 million. That figure did not include the enormous risk to the entire Starlink constellation. Russian anti-satellite weapons could threaten the whole system.
Elon Musk put the Starlink constellation on the line to help Ukraine. Think about that.
