October is Respect Life Month and Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Month. We remember babies who have died through miscarriage, stillbirth, abortion, and other tragic circumstances, and we trust that God holds them in His loving arms.
If you are grieving the loss of a baby, you are not alone. In the Diocese of Lincoln, Red Bird Ministries and the Healing Hearts Grief Outreach Program are here to help, and you can always reach out to a priest at your local parish.
Please know that you are all in my prayers.
Saint Zelie Martin (St. Therese of Lisieux’s mother), who suffered the loss of four of her nine children who died very young, pray for us.

This year’s theme is “The Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary,” encouraging young artists to bring their faith to life through creativity.
🖍️ Open to all Catholic students, including homeschoolers and religious education students.
🏆 Six winners and six runners-up will be selected, and the winning artwork will be featured on prayer cards distributed throughout Oklahoma!
📅 Submission Deadline: December 11, 2026
Teachers, catechists, and parents are encouraged to share this wonderful opportunity!
