People will always remember what You didn’t do for THEM. Yet, they hold everything against you for what you do for you ! #facts #foodforthought #doyouunapologetically

Some people will never understand your competitive spirit & that’s okay. Never tone down your drive to make others comfortable. Those who share your fire don’t need an explanation. Those who don’t, never will. Stay true to what fuels you. Keep chasing what sets your soul on fire.

Stay in coaching long enough and you realize X’s and O’s are the easy part. Communication, culture, adaptability, and seeing things as they are matter more than scheme ever will. Scheme doesn’t always win Friday. Sometimes the other stuff has to.

Jesus didn't die just for the person who arrives early to church and reads scripture everyday. He died for us who make mistakes, fail miserably, miss church, are inconsistent in prayer and fail to thank Him regularly. That's my Jesus ✝️✝️

"I came here in 2015 to coach at Pitt. I had no intentions of ever leaving. I've had opportunities to leave, I've stayed."
He pulled a quote out of his suit jacket that his late father used to carry with him.
"Remember this - if you work for a man in heaven's name, work for him. If he pays your wages, which supplies you bread and butter, work for him. Speak well of him, stand by him, stand by the instiution he represents...that's what it comes down to is being loyal."

Guide my thoughts, words, and actions today.
Give me strength, peace, wisdom, and good health.
Protect me and my family from every danger.
Open the right doors and lead me according to Your will.

Dear Lord,
Today, put me in a position where I don’t have to accept everything just because I need something. Give me enough options to walk away from bad deals, enough resources to wait for the right opportunity, and enough stability to make decisions based on where I’m going instead of what I need right now. Bless me with the freedom to choose what’s best, not just what’s available. in Jesus’ name. amen🙏🏽

“No options left” is often just exhaustion talking. When we’re tired, disappointed, or stuck, it’s easy to give up. But the next possibility appears only after we take a breath, ask for help, change the angle, or try the thing that feels too simple to matter.

Pastor Daryl’s message at Grace Family Church was from Revelation 2:12-29. In letters to 2 churches Jesus deals with compromise. The question is “Who defines truth?” Satan has caused us to think we can define truth. We can overrule God’s word. When we allow that to happen we compromise and Jesus says in this passage He is offended by that. If we “tolerate” things that go against God’s word we will soon “accept” those things. And then we’ll have problems.
We have to stay true to God’s word and not give into the world’s deceptions.
Don’t worry about being called intolerant. Hold on to the truth—God’s word.
