Talking about all things #onted. Watching Ontario teacher union negotiations. Claims, contracts, and what’s really being bargained. Kids are not pawns.

Rusty Brown of the @FreedomFdtn didn't hold back at TFS: Heartland. He called teachers unions the largest funders of the radical left and explained what that money buys them.
How can Marit run for Premier if she can’t read a single line on a balance sheet?
Once again, health care workers and patients are left paying for Doug Ford’s devastating cuts to our health care.
Firing health care workers when we should be hiring more is only going to make wait times longer and leave patients sicker.
Doug Ford and Sylvia Jones need to actually listen to experts, invest in our health care system, and put patients first.
Ontarians deserve so much better.

The unions are leading this struggle into defeat like in 2022 & years past if rank-and-file education workers don’t take matter into our own hands & build rank-and-file-committees in every school to take control of the struggle from the bureaucracy. #OntEdUnited #red4ed #onpoli

Because the union bureaucracy is totally hostile to a united struggle of #onted. We saw this in the 2022 support staff strike the teacher unions bullied and lied to teachers to not join their colleagues on the picket line & scab on them. #onpoli #ontedunited
Why aren't all #onted unions on the same page and organizing strike votes for the same time period? Let's actually work together this time in an attempt to bring real change to education.

The union bureaucracy is what it does not what it says.
They claim to be united but when the time comes to negotiate the unions divide us, the union leaders negotiate separate deals instead of fighting a united struggle, they isolate us against the government. #Onted
Tomorrow. 💜❤️
275,000 education workers across Ontario will be wearing purple and red.
Every education union. One voice.
Set your colours out tonight. Photo with your co-workers on your break. Post it. Tag your local and OSBCU.

Teachers need to teach.
Reading. Writing. Math.
Not activism.
Not pronouns.
Not someone else’s politics.
The classroom is for kids. Not for a movement.

Anything the teacher unions are in charge of is not to be trusted, especially if students are involved.

This is why our kids are failing in Ontario. Teachers who can’t spell.
Every post is filled with spelling mistakes. Brutal!

The classroom is not the place to protest.
Three days out.
Our contracts expired. Our resolve is only growing.
Wed Sept 16: OSBCU/CSCSO joins OSSTF, ETFO, OECTA, AEFO, OPSEU, EWAO and OCEW for a province-wide Day of Action. 275,000+ education workers.

Putting student achievement first with stronger supports, clearer expectations and continued investment in classrooms and schools across in Ontario.
Acting like a child online can be exhausting.
I’m emotionally exhausted - kids haven’t even started yet, @PaulCalandra. There will be #onted students who won’t see the inside of a school b/c there is not enough support. This is not sustainable. Is your mandate to dissolve public education? #onpoli #EnoughIsEnough
If you stand for workers, why don’t you support the 12,000 people employed by Staples?
I can’t imagine that @PaulCalandra thought that teachers & education workers would do their homework
All the shiny ads, the smooth talking? All a crock.
Our money spent with Americans at inflated prices.
@OFLabour
These events are only attended by union members, paid actors and members of other unions.
The public does care! Stop complaining.
#onted - protests aren’t for everyone. I appreciate that. There is still a way to support your colleagues from all parts of the education system! How? repost their posts! Comment on them! Encourage them out there on the front lines ❤️
Because you’re a nobody.
Talk to your union leadership.
-They work for you.
-You pay them.
Hey @PaulCalandra - if you are protecting Ontario workers, then why won’t you meet with #onted ? As a parent & educator I am absolutely sick of your performance as MOEd. How can you champion student achievement - yet cut the supports to help? #onpoli
