Ofc. Soldo was working a traffic enforcement operation when he stopped a motorcycle for speeding 18MPH over the speed limit. The operator had no motorcycle endorsement and failed to disclose this firearm. As a reminder you must disclose concealed firearms to police when stopped.

The Nebraska Chapter of the National Safety Council along with AAA Nebraska hosted a Holiday Wet Lab on 12-19-25. The Holiday Wet Lab provided a unique and educational opportunity for attendees to observe how alcohol consumption impacts driving abilities and decision making.

Ofc. Owen working I-80 on 12-14-25 observed 2 vehicles eastbound that were racing. Unfortunately, he could only stop one of them. Driver cited and vehicle was impounded. Speed limit is 65 on I-80 inside the city limits not 105!

PNL Unit wrapped up the fiscal year 2024/2025 and looking forward to continue educating the up and coming drivers in our community. Last year we gave 125 presenations to area youth on the dangers of distracted driving. We delivered this message to 4,767 young drivers.
