Refreshing to hear. All about your teammates. Pick them up, play the right way, don't cut corners, be accountable, be open for criticism . . . be uncommon. What a coach and manager - he's constantly trying to improve and will continue to do so. Brewers knew what they had years ago is my guess. Congrats!
Always a solid night! Annual Bean Bag World Series Gathering. Great seeing everyone . . . winning team of Landon Hoffman and Coach Wiesner. They went 8-1 on the night!
We ended our last night of Fall Baseball after 5 weeks of practice and game play. We had a great stretch of weather this year with days lining up perfectly! Thanks for coming out to the ballpark!!!
What an AB! Not sure if it will ever happen but would love to be in a ballpark with this type of electricity. SD will bring it for GM 3 and 4. Chourio is a gamer!
Great day at Jaycee Park. Sundays are game days with rotations of defense, live hitting and cage work. Players went around 2X. Also continued our work on baserunning & ground ball work prior to the first pitch. Manthey park was rockin’ as well.
Night number 1 for Fall Baseball. OF Relays, framing (C), bullpens, ground ball work, and hitting. Two different sites getting after it this evening for grades 4-7. Game play starts on Sunday for the 10 Pointers, Mallards, and Ringnecks.
The game today vs Farmington has been canceled due to a very poor daily forecast. That concludes our Legion Season. Exceeded expectations with outstanding effort all summer long. Very grateful & thankful to our players and parent support - thank you! Enjoyed every minute of it!
Final 3-4 loss in 10 innings to Grand Rapids. Connor Wiese rolled through 6 before rain hit. Unfortunate timing, they rally for two. Then just a battle in extras. A great game overall. We will end the season with one more game vs Farmington tomorrow.
Final 2-6 L vs Wayzata. Gave up 3 in the top of the 7th. AJ Ulrich with a very nice start. Wyatt Frantesl with a big day on both sides.
MN Legion State Tourney - Game 1 this morning we are playing Wayzata at 10:30 AM.
Game 2 at approximately 6 PM vs Grand Rapids this evening.
Game 3 vs Farmington on Friday at 1:00 PM.
The top 2 advance to bracket play. Chasing 2 wins in Pool Play.
