Tamari, CEO of Sucafina, and plans to expand investment in value addition through @UgCoffeeGroup , Uganda is poised to unlock greater opportunities in the coffee sector. Our Deputy Chief Coordinator, Brig Gen Godfrey Muwanguzi, engaged leaders and stakeholders in Luwero on the implementation of @GovUganda development programs, emphasising mindset change, effective utilisation of the seven pillars of @PDMSecretariat , and the need to strengthen household incomes and livelihoods. Leaders raised concerns including livestock theft, drought, limited irrigation, inadequate markets and the need for greater investment in agro-processing and value addition. Brig Gen Muwanguzi assured the leaders that the concerns raised would be presented to the relevant authorities for consideration and appropriate action.
