IN AN EMERGENCY, EVERY SECOND COUNTS: SAVE OGUN STATE’S AMBULANCE NUMBER
If you witness or are involved in a road accident anywhere in Ogun State, call 08112000033 for immediate ambulance assistance.
You may wonder why you should call this number instead of 112, Nigeria’s national emergency line.
While 112 remains an important emergency contact, calls may need to be assessed and transferred to the appropriate state emergency response agency. This process can sometimes cause delays, particularly when accurate location information is required.
Until Nigeria fully implements an advanced, location-based emergency call-routing system, contacting Ogun State’s ambulance service directly can help reduce communication delays and connect callers with local responders more quickly.
The good news is that Ogun State’s emergency ambulance service is FREE. Accident victims conveyed through the service are also eligible for free treatment during the first 48 hours at designated government health facilities.
SAVE THIS NUMBER: 08112000033
In an emergency, timely intervention can make the difference between life and death.
Save the number. Share it with family and friends. You could save a life.

I really don’t like coming online to post my private life but I guess this is necessary.
I was assaulted and harassed by police officers at Somolu today.
They claimed that the vehicle that I have been driving for 5 years is stolen because a sticker that carries the plate number of the previous car owner was found on the top left corner of the windscreen of my vehicle
After giving them all my up-to-date car documents, including my proof of Ownership documents, they insist my car was a stolen vehicle. How is that possible when I have been renewing my papers and going for car inspections every year for the last 5 years ? Thier claim was just outrageous and wasn’t making any sense to me
One of them even went away with my car documents and I do not know where he went to and if he had gone to tamper with them. When I asked where my car papers were, one of them punched me in the chest 3 times. I have it on camera
I noticed a pattern of oppression and because I didn’t allow myself to be taken advantage of, they ended up rough handling me, holding me on my trousers like a common criminal and finally towing my car and confiscating in the street in front of their their station at Alade Police station, Balogun street Somolu. The environment do not seem safe and my car is a at risk of vandalism and worse getting stolen if it remains there overnight
Their intimidation was for me to be extorted and since I didn’t give them the chance to they decided to lay their hands on me and impound my car. One even called me a criminal in my face and threatened to shoot at me.
Please I need this post to reach the right authorities. I have called the police hotline designated to handle cases like this and for over 2 hours they kept telling me they will give me a call back. So at this point I am In the dark.
Please help me tag and bring the right authorities attention to this post. @AbimbolaShotayo @PoliceNG_CRU @CspIniedu @PoliceNG
I will be attaching video evidence of my assault.
Lamba pelu photo ops.😅
For nearly 20 years, over 300 containers of transmission equipment sat stranded at our ports. This equipment was bought to expand the network, relieve overloaded substations and bring more reliable electricity to Nigerians.
Yesterday, the Nigeria Customs Service approved the release of the first 98. Our engineers will now verify the equipment, test it and deploy it where it is needed most. That means completing stalled projects, easing pressure on overloaded substations and strengthening the grid.
This is a significant first step, and we are working to secure the release of the remaining 200+ containers without further delay.
We are grateful to His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for approving the release. We also thank the Comptroller-General and officers of the Nigeria Customs Service, the Honourable Minister of Finance, the Honourable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, the Nigerian Ports Authority, the terminal operators and the TCN team for their support.
A stronger grid, one step at a time. 🇳🇬

GOOD DAY, MR PRESIDENT: NIGERIANS DESERVE ACCOUNTABILITY
Good day, Mr President.
I congratulate you on spending a night in one of Nigeria’s states outside Lagos and Abuja. I hope you enjoyed the warmth, hospitality, and delicious cuisine of Akwa Ibom, which I am sure is even better than those of the destinations where you have spent over 260 days outside Nigeria since coming into office.
I sincerely hope this visit will inspire you to travel to the remaining 33 states of the federation, spend time with the people and, more importantly, explain what your administration has done with the ₦15.8 trillion saved from the removal of fuel subsidy, the over $100 billion you have borrowed, the increased revenues accruing to the government from taxing Nigerians, and the additional government revenues which your administration celebrated last year as having surpassed its target.
Nigerians deserve to know how many that were pulled out of poverty within this period, how many out-of-school children were returned to school, and how many functional primary healthcare centres you have built. They also deserve to know how much electricity supply has improved, especially given your promise that if you do not fix power, Nigerians should not vote for you. They deserve an explanation of how you have secured the country, which still ranks among the most terrorised countries in the world.
Mr President, Nigerians deserve answers. They deserve to know what has been done with the resources entrusted to your government.
The New Nigeria we want to build will be based on accountability, transparency, and the physical, measurable impact of our public resources on the lives of citizens.
A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

Since I woke up this morning, I've taken my time to go through the comments, quotes, and advice people have shared. Trust me, I'm going to take every single piece of advice seriously. However, there's one advice I will not take, and that's people telling me to stay away from politics and focus solely on my business.
I think I responded to someone's comment suggesting that we should vote for Peter Obi, and I noticed that quite a number of people dragged me for it. But honestly, why should I be told not to talk about politics and just concentrate on my business? Who do you think put me in the situation I'm currently in? Is it not the government? I shouldn't talk about politics, but politics is talking about me. Do you understand how badly government policies have affected my business and my livelihood?
I'm genuinely grateful to everyone who came through for me, but the truth is, I'm still going to bear losses. And who created the economic conditions that contributed to those losses? The government.
Let me also address those who believe I made a financial mistake by opening the shop in the first place. Yes, perhaps there were things I could have done differently, but let me give you some context. My shop is strategically located between two major universities in Port Harcourt: the University of Science and Technology (UST) and Ignatius Ajuru University. These institutions have thousands of students. Do you honestly think these students don't want cookies? Why do you think I chose that location in the first place? The idea was simple: students from both universities would make up a significant part of my customer base.
Interestingly, since this whole support campaign started, a good number of the people who have shown up to support me are students from these same universities. They have always been my target audience. But the problem is that the economy has destroyed their purchasing power. These students, who ordinarily would patronise my business, are now more concerned about paying school fees, feeding themselves, and meeting their basic needs.
And somehow, I'm being told not to talk about politics?
You're telling me to focus on my business, post my products, and leave politics alone. But why can't I do both? Why can't I promote my business and also speak about the political leadership and candidate I believe can bring about the change we desperately need? Why shouldn't I advocate for someone I believe can help change the circumstances that have made running a small business this difficult?
I was fortunate that my situation gained attention and people rallied around me. But what happens the next time? Will I have to depend on a viral post before I can make meaningful sales? Is that how a business should survive? Absolutely not.
I appreciate every single person who has supported me, advised me, encouraged me, and shown me love. I will take the business advice, learn from my mistakes, and make better decisions going forward.
But please, don't tell me to stop talking about politics. The economy is affecting my business. Government policies are affecting my customers. The political decisions being made in this country have direct consequences on my livelihood.
I cannot separate my business struggles from the politics and economic realities that contribute to them. I have every right to speak about both.
PLEASE VOTE PETER OBI!!! ✌️
Unfortunately, Ogun State is following in Lagos's footsteps.
The indiscriminate deforestation in the state is gradually getting out of hand.
Zero planning zero reserves for greenery and the wild.
All in the name of real estate development.

Emperors and kings can’t measure up to the current ambitions of APC
They just want to be unopposed despite their mismanagement of the country
