Not to jinx Como today, but I believe they’ll mess Man United up badly.
My prediction is 4:1 to Como.
Next, United will be linked with Cesc Fabregas as a potential replacement for Michael Carrick.
The world is just too predictable man.

Shoutout Viktor Gyökeres. Massive contribution for the equaliser. Eze was excellent on the ball tonight. A draw is fair.
14 wins 1 draw in the UCL group phase. We last dropped points in Nov 2024.
Standards we have set for this team is crazy. We move.
Fingers crossed on Bukayo 🙏🏽
Declan Rice: “Viktor Gyökeres has been making such an impact coming off the bench. He made some great runs tonight & he set me up for the goal.”
“When you play against Bayern, a team that go man-to-man over the whole pitch, you have to apply certain principles & concepts, you’re constantly thinking about where you can move into the space.”
“For the goal, Noni Madueke’s one-touch set, Gyökeres’ one-touch set, I kept running, them little movements get you through on goal - I was so happy to score.” [TNT]

Declan Rice. Midfielder of the decade.
Stops goals—Scores goals—Creates goals. No one at his level.

🚨 Official: Manchester City Chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak statement.
“I have been part of this Club for 18 years. I have had the privilege to stand with you in the Etihad, at Wembley, and in Istanbul. This Club matters to me, and you have shown and told me – time and time again - how much Manchester City matters to you. This is why I am writing to you today”.
“Following Friday’s media reporting, many of you will have spent your evening answering questions and responding to messages from friends, family and colleagues. So have I”.
“Here’s what I said to my family: The Premier League process still has a long way to run, and our confidence and intent in proving the Club’s innocence is just as strong as when this began”.
“There are so many things that I would like to be able to share with you to help you understand why we feel so confident in our position. But the strict confidentiality of the legal process and our determination to respect it means I cannot do that at the moment. Even this letter underwent several legal checks to make sure it complies”.
“I ask you to please carefully read the statement below, which we gave on Friday, and the statement we issued in February 2023 (also below). Every word matters and holds true”.
“While some people have been quick to reach their own conclusions, and there is so much noise swirling around us, nothing has changed. We have faced challenges together before and have prevailed. There remain many who want to undermine the momentum of our Club. We will not give them that opportunity”.
“We have some exciting moments to look forward to after this international break. We travel to Anfield in a fortnight, and then host Paris St Germain in the Champions League back at Etihad Stadium - moments that give us an opportunity to celebrate the strength of the Manchester City family”.
“Thank you, as always, for your constant support. Khaldoon Al Mubarak”.

🚨 Thomas Tuchel on Rice missing England:
🗣️ Tuchel: “He is not here because his club asked him to rest a hamstring that has been talking all year.
I would rather have him for March than have him for 20 minutes against Spain and lose him for Leeds.
Arsenal can keep him. I just want him back in one piece.”

💣🚨Marli Salmon on what Gabriel said to him after the slip vs Ipswich:
🗣️For a second I thought I’d ruined it. I slipped, the ball was gone, and I could feel everyone looking. Then I saw Gabby coming. He didn’t shout. He just put his arm around my shoulder, pulled me in and said, ‘Look at me. You’re my brother out here. I make those mistakes too. We fix it together, yeah? Keep your head up. I’ve got you.’
🗣️He stayed there until I nodded. That was the moment I stopped feeling like a kid trying to survive and started feeling like I actually belong in this team.

Ballard pulled Konsa's shirt, Sunderland got the penalty. Embarrassing, a disgrace, unacceptable! Disband the PGMOL immediately

Look, we won and I’m so happy, but I have to make a post about the referee after the game I just watched.
John Brooks is his name.
Booking Gabriel Magalhaes for doing nothing but pulling Ezri Konsa away from a situation.
Booking Granit Xhaka for his reaction after he won the ball fairly.
And the penalty… well Mikel Arteta summed it up perfectly “it’s a judo role”. Ezri Konsa is getting pulled to the ground by Dan Ballard.
He was terrible for both teams.
I do not want to see him ever referee a Premier League game again.

Arteta totally correct to call put the ref for the rodiculous penalty. He also let Sunderland take ages on numerous throw ins. Sort it out PGMOL. Meant to be 5 second countdowns

When Cesc Fàbregas took charge of Como in 2024, the club were sitting sixth in Serie B.
They're now fourth in Serie A and have just won their first-ever Champions League game 4-1 👏
