日本には鬼子(おにご)という伝承や考え方があります
これは「人間の両親を持っているのにどう見ても人間では無い存在の子供」と伝えられており、科学的には身体障害者の事だったのではないかと言われています。
こうした鬼子は人間のフリをしてやがて人間に災いを齎すと伝承にあり、赤子のうちに命を奪ったり、山の神の祠に置いてきたりといった対処がとられました。
今回のシナリオでは「ウマ娘は名前を与えられたことで人間との繋がりを持った」という話が出てきます
この事を加味すると真実は「ウマ娘は種族ではなく、山に捨てられた耳と尻尾を持った野生児集団」だった可能性が高いと私は思っています。
