I've run out of Astra credits on all my accounts until the 15th. I'm back to Opus and Fable and..............I really miss Astra.

We're officially launching @typedotcom today, after months of heads-down building. It's already a critical product for our early adopters, and I can't wait to see how others use it. Check it out and let me know what you think!
Today we're officially launching @typedotcom, the shared space for your team's best AI work. Teams need a central place to build apps, skills and automations together. Not swarms of agents. Our ambition with Type is to be the last piece of software your team will ever need. To build this, we've raised $4m from @LererHippeau, @haystackvc, @MatchstickVC, and angels from Slack, Github, and Ramp. So what does Type do? → share work from Claude chats into a collaborative space → switch harness or model any time → manage integrations with granular permissions → a central place to deploy apps and automations together → build a self-learning company brain → use your existing Claude or ChatGPT subscription Companies like @rayconglobal, @Intelligems and @trueclassictees are already running tens of thousands of successful agent jobs that forecast revenue, manage inventory, answer support tickets, and a lot more. We're blown away every day at the custom tools and automations our customers are building. What's something you haven't yet been able to solve or automate in your business? Tell us in the comments and we'll respond by building it for you in Type!

I got access to @OpacityHQ . I literally haven't been this excited about a tool in a long time. I'm just getting up to speed, and already so impressed. Great work, @drewwilson and team! I'm founding member #194! zoah.com/community/@chris/fo…

Don't be thrown by all the X shitposting. Slack and Figma aren't going anywhere. In fact, they're still crucial infrastructure for the tech world.

My least favorite thing about Liquid Glass is how it makes circular buttons look like ovals on light surfaces because of the inner glow. Drives me batty

I've been using @oboelabs a lot lately for a self-directed study of quantum physics. It's an excellent product and everyone should know about it.

We also initially thought a bunch of AI teammates was the right paradigm, but as usual Grok is ~4 months behind. We've learned from customers that having dozens of AI teammates is actually counterproductive. It's a vanity metric. Instead, teams need a shared workspace where they can: - work with any model - build a "company brain" of skills, integrations, and context/memory mapped to their permissions - build and host custom apps - interact from slack, email, or wherever they work Grok bot is pretty slick but it's not how people are going to work.
Introducing Grok Bot, now in early beta. Bots are AI teammates that do real work for you. They sign in to your tools, use them just like you do, and come back with finished work.

You know what’s weird? A multi-year super deep dive into aliens brought me back to a new, more thoughtful version of Christianity (the faith I’d deconstructed and given up on). And it’s made me feel more epistemically humbled. Our world is far richer than we perceive it to be

My favorite pieces right now: - The embedded browser in the desktop app - BYO Claude / Codex subscriptions - Over 900 integrations available, and type can help connect to ones that aren't in our catalog - Working in type feels like a team communication app, not an AI chat tool and a lot more

If you’re able to, I strongly, strongly recommend finding a partner, settling down, and raising kids. I’m not sure if there’s a more rewarding venture on this earth.

At @typedotcom, we believe deeply that team collaboration is critical for achieving great work. But the shape of teams looks different now. We need new kinds of tools that make our siloed agentic work securely available to our team and their agents too.

Is there a PM twitter community? Or a software dev one? Sales ops? Customer support? Are they as exhausting as the design one? Or do those ppl just show up and do great work without needing an audience? Spicy, I’m sorry

As a parent, you spend more time vacuuming than you’d expect.

Small but big: you can now switch models for every new thread in @typedotcom. Bring your own subscriptions or just rip through your Type usage credits, with more models and automatic routing on the way!
Today, we're launching a highly requested feature: Model Picker! For any task/automation in Type, select a harness, model, reasoning, and speed. Switch between Claude Code, Codex, and Fable/Opus/Sonnet/GPT (more coming soon!) Runs in a shared cloud workspace with whole team.

My oldest kid turned 6 today. Time passes way too quickly. I’m so grateful that I get to have the experience of parenting (although I have much to learn and am constantly frustrated / exhausted by it). Watching your little ones grow up is the purest form of magic.

This isn't because I'm biased towards @typedotcom, but I'm not really sure why Buzz is so popular. It's certainly NOT a Slack killer. In fact, one of my favorite things about @typedotcom is that you can use it with or without Slack. It works perfectly well either way.
