Thank you for this. The action items are fantastic. Gang rapes have happened for years, including to one of my best friends at the University of Oregon with a similar group of untouchables. I went to the Dean to report it and was told no investigation unless she walked in.

WTF? @CanterburyCards axed the Ladies event this year for its big fall classic, but added an event for under 40? I literally just looked it up so I could schedule my flight so I could play the ladies event, as is my tradition.
Lame. There are a thousand reasons for ladies events in poker. Many women don’t play in live card rooms until a ladies event when it’s more comfortable. It’s the gateway tournament (in a good way) Did you really need to encourage more backpacks under 40 to play? Why? 🙄

What are your opinions on pet and ESA dogs in poker rooms? Apparently it will be discussed at next TDA conference. Some players are severely allergic. Many players are neurodivergent etc and need ESAs. It’s a complicated topic.
(Obviously my and other service dogs are protected. I’m asking about ESA, and separately pets.)
New ransom note in Guthrie case has a different type of crypto (not bitcoin) requested, and TMZ says FBI asked them not to disclose the type. Hmmm what type could it be that our government wouldn’t want to say out loud? A type of crypto that could easily be used for money laundering, ransom, and bribes?

My thought is what if you write out 5&2? Cards in a deck? Two ones? Aces are ones. The Las Vegas Aces are a big deal winning championships the last few years. And they have a brand new 40 million dollarTRAIN ing facility. And the Aces are broadcast on the CBS affiliate so sponsorship makes sense…so the training facility is one possibility.
But where do the Aces play? Mandalay Bay right? A different Reddit thread found all the real stock photos on the clues for all 50 states. Nevada was obviously the Welcome to Las Vegas Sign. However In the real photo, the sign is on the right, but what is on the left side of the photo??? MANDALAY BAY!
