The internet has a long memory, and it doesn’t forget. When @ISMAILACEESAY told Peter Gomez that the UTG Faraba Banta campus was @BarrowPresident’s idea, he was definitely fibbing.
Development is a continuum. Here was Sir Dawda discussing the OMVG project and the Trans-Gambia Bridge, now called the Senegambia Bridge. A reminder that development builds on the vision and groundwork of those who came before us. @BarrowPresident
Van is full of shit. Abdul will win Michigan. Detroit and Wayne County run on union muscle that turns out voters, and Obama and Kamala campaigning in metro Detroit will fire up Black and suburban voters even more. This is my old neighborhood. It's politics hasn't changed much.
When the bluster stops working and the heat is on, officials tend to swap swagger for humility. The contrition is a tactic, not a conviction. It sounds comforting, but it says almost nothing. It acknowledges that people are frustrated without admitting anyone was at fault.
The mayor is right. @ISMAILACEESAY has been a bull in a china shop, and along the way he has squandered his credibility. When @BarrowPresident loses in December, he will struggle to persuade anyone of anything of substance.
I expect @ISMAILACEESAY will appear on Peter Gomez’s show tomorrow, where he is rarely challenged, & describe the students who threw water at him as unruly. I doubt he will acknowledge his own role in provoking the situation by appearing at a site outside his ministry’s purview.
Professor Pierre Gomez failed in his duties and that too must be said...

My brother, @ISMAILACEESAY and others like him appear to think messaging can substitute for solving real problems, at least until those problems boil over. I question his role at this student grievance protest, where the higher education minister is also present.
"This is more than just another persecution of one of Trump’s political enemies. Rather, his government is tacitly declaring the citizenship of all foreign-born people provisional, their Americanness something that can be revoked."

Ismaila's attempt to downplay Mama Jabbie's behavior is embarrassing. She routinely hurls insults at @ODarboeOfficial, yet she's a regular at State House and friends with @BarrowPresident's sister. Both Mama & Binta should be condemned and shunned.
@ISMAILACEESAY
Protest in Gambia and @ISMAILACEESAY will act like it is the end of the world...see what is happening in France?

Oh, the irony! A president cruising around in a fleet of luxury vehicles is lecturing his political rivals about expensive cars. Apparently, self-awareness wasn't invited along for the ride
The 2026 election is not a contest over Barrow or the NPP. It is a referendum on term limits: no Gambian leader should rule indefinitely. Two terms is enough.
And don't get smart alecky with me about the constitution's lack of term limits. I know that.
Happy birthday to Kalabantang’s own @patapj! Wishing you a blessed year ahead. Simayaa fo faw.
Elders say: when the goat tells you it will eat the whole farm, believe it. @BarrowPresident told us, and his hunger for power has no bottom.

“Na Barrow dem! Na Barrow dem! Na Barrow dem!"
Promises made, promises broken. Time for change. Vote @BarrowPresident out.

"Every great movement in the world starts with a tiny group of people who simply refuse to accept a situation."
That is the story of @UniteMovementFC. We refused to settle, and we chose a new path.
