Fancy winning a fantastic, £800 1:8 scale Pocher Porsche 917KH model kit? Or the premium collectors’ edition of Brian Long’s brilliant Ultimate Pagoda book worth £200? It couldn’t be easier.

McLaren is selling five ex-works Formula 1 cars through Tom Hartley Jnr, from two Senna-tested 1991 MP4/6As to Lando Norris’s 2023 MCL37A, the most modern F1 car yet offered for private ownership. All five come direct from the team.

The rotary-powered C111 prototype firing up at the opening ceremony of the newly extended Mercedes-Benz Classic Center in Stuttgart!
I’ve had a few t-shirts in my time – I am wearing a rather nice Swell Maps one as I type – but you couldn’t make a 348-page book out of them as you can from Gordon Murray's. Yes, this is an actual thing, £55 from Porter Press International, ISBN 978-1-913089-19-1.
The commitments you have to make in order to get access to Duke of London's Classics & Cake meets (there's one happening on the Brentford Riviera this Sunday by the way), just went up a level...
I love browsing auctions like this (who wouldn't want a Ferrari F40 suit carrier and suitcase?), but buried deep in this Ferrari sale is a bunch of Alfa spares and automobilia (240-260) and a load of low-estimate Alfa Romeo cars (lot 440 on). rmsothebys.com/auctions/p226…
Policing West Midlands style vs Dubai style. Yes, Dubai Police now has a 920hp, 0 to 100 km/h in 2.7 secs Lamborghini Temerario on the fleet. Needs some roof-lights really.
One from the archive...
Many years ago (2007, look how slender and hirsute I was) Coys (remember them?) sold a load of movie cars at Blenheim and James Mann photographed the Pink Panther car at Teddington Studios (lovely office but no Grauman's Chinese Theatre). It sold for £71k.
On the one hand great for enhanced vision at night for classics; on the other I am sick of being blinded by oncoming LED headlamps and think they can be dangerous. There is a bigger safety discussion to be had here. octane-magazine.com/news/app…
