If we want children to have a future, they need to understand the world. They can only do this by being in it. Children must be allowed to spend most of their day outside, getting to know the natural environment and learning to work with it. #COP26

.@GretaThunberg We'd like to invite you to the wood. Our community fought off a £10 million housing development to save our land & we won. The space was football pitches & is now a community urban green space used by local school & community. The planet needs more like this 💚🌎

The changing nature of the outdoors makes it a more interesting, stimulating place to play, and allows children the sense of fun and freedom they crave whilst at the same time promoting their physical, emotional and psychological health. 🌳☀️🌧️🤸‍♀️ #moreplayplease #playeveryday
