The Plumber Wizards or: Why @mavensbot left the leaks on purpose. In the beginning there was a staff. Not polished. Not perfect. A staff with tiny, deliberate holes in the metal, pixel voids that look like defects but are actually the first pipes... xitter.cf/Offchain_Wizard/status…

Each of these have little pixel dots that look like defects or glitches purposefully included by @mavensbot. IMHO these are flaws, imperfections, deformities... Original logo has 1 the second logo has 8 and final logo has 5

I'm becoming more convinced the metaverse is going to be invented on accident by a YouTuber.

every single time I see people defending blur like they just blocked the past blur incentivized volume farming at a loss in exchange for rewards in a separate $BLUR token that they owned a huge allocation of. this put negative pressure on nearly every NFT floor, abolished rarity premiums, and killed any momentum instantly. they got rid of creator royalties and fees, once again, not because of the goodness of their heart, because it incentivized people to trade more volume at as small of margin as possible NFTs don't need high liquidity or loans to succeed. How 'liquid' were baseball cards, pokemon cards, watches, physical art for years. To sell them, you had to go through an arduous grading process and then list, sell, ship on sites like ebay or amazon, or physically attend shows/trade fairs and try to find a buyer by hand. If people are buying NFTs as art, collectibles, membership, etc. there is absolutely no need for them to be highly liquid. You already have access to the entire internet of potential buyers. You don't need tight bids at all times that are 98% of the time placed by flippers or farmers.

the idea that NFT supply MUST be capped prevents them from mainstream nearly all real world collectibles are inflationary - pokemon cards, sports cards, coins, stamps, etc. inflation brings awareness. low entry is GOOD. serious collectors still buy grails adjust your thinking

Ordinals unphased ...
4,000 NFTs were drained from hundreds of wallets through old Magic Eden contracts🚨 Here is everything we know: - March 9 and Magic Eden shuts down its EVM NFT marketplace - The interface disappears, but onchain approvals from users are not revoked September 25, 3,832 NFTs are moved The transactions reportedly appear as sales through Magic Eden contracts for: 0 ETH Everything is being concentrated into one address: 0x71cF3f5724bD2B72Ef6464992aCd26216DE7fe33 At first this looks like a massive exploit. Then 16 minutes later security researcher @0xQuit responds publicly: He says the wallet is controlled by a white hat And that every NFT inside it is safe and will be returned once the assets are no longer at risk. The weirdest part is how this happened six months after Magic Eden had already shut down its EVM marketplace. Magic Eden announced the shutdown in February. If you previously gave a marketplace contract permission to transfer your NFTs using setApprovalForAll that permission can remain active in your wallet even after the website disappears. If you ever used Magic Eden on EVM chains check your old approvals NOW

AI-generated online flexes make traditional visual status signaling less credible. In stark contrast #NFTs carry a verifiable claim of ownership.
I cannot tell you how excited I am that AI is about to kill off looks Instagram and flexing on social media.
