However, As a young researcher based in Mbarara City, Southwestern Uganda, and while I am so eager to attend, the registration fees are currently beyond my means. The Hon. Minister of Health Dr. Chris Baryomunsi opened the 2nd National Conference on Communicable and Non-Communicable Diseases and the 20th Joint Annual Scientific Health Conference today.
The 3-day conference is running under the theme; “Unified Action Against Communicable and Non-Communicable Diseases in Uganda.”
The Hon. Minister urged Participants including the academia, Government MDAs, Development Partners, Religious Leaders and Civil Society leaders to prioritize prevention and early detection.
