There’s this guy who has been asking my colleague out. He owns a small restaurant on the Island, and every day by 12pm, he sends his dispatch rider to bring lunch for her.
When I say lunch, I don’t mean small chops o. I’m talking correct stir-fry pasta, hot party jollof, sometimes assorted pepper soup with rice, etc. He literally made a food menu for her. So by 11am, she’s already anticipating correct food by 12pm.
One of my colleagues jokingly said, “I hope you’re dating this man o, because he’s really intentional about you.”
This babe opened her mouth and said, “Dating who? I can’t date him o. He’s not my type. I just love the food, so let me keep giving him false hope.”
Yesterday, the man didn’t send lunch, so we were curious. We noticed she kept checking her phone every minute, waiting for the dispatch rider’s call.
By 2pm, she called the man to find out why he hadn’t sent food. The guy told her to give him a response, yes or no, on whether she was going to date him so he could channel his time and attention elsewhere.
This babe started shouting, “So because of your rubbish food that you bring every day, you’re giving me an ultimatum to choose whether I’ll date you or not?”
Before she could complete the sentence, the guy hung up on her. 😂😂😂
Her eyes were looking red. Everybody in the office was just laughing at her.
She thinks she’s Miss Universe. Glad the guy finally knows his worth.

i don't know if you people have started warring again, but i had a conversation recently with a friend two nights ago and i stated this clearly to her: the people who often have the most to say about certain affairs (especially online), in a certain way, are people who have lost themselves and can't seem to find themselves.
misery loves company, and a lack of true awareness and state of the self, and arrogance—all ingrained within and at once, oftentimes—are very often obvious in these people when you look carefully. and it is a lot of times just deceit.
a lot of times, people in this position are not exactly fitting for what they seem to have the best answers for. you'll find them giving business advice when they haven't exactly successfully grown one properly either. it takes actually wearing the shoe of the man in the arena and walking around in them—in the arena. because until you do that, until you find yourself in the situations many of these people really do struggle with and you do it differently, maybe you just belong where you currently are: an inglorious spectator. and a lot of times, a miserable one, because you couldn't even put on a simple shoe.

2: Initiated in 1976 by General Olusegun Obasanjo, with construction commencing under President Shehu Shagari, the Ikere Gorge Dam has remained a symbol of Nigeria’s abandoned infrastructure potential.
3: The electricity generation equipment purchased for the project has remained inside cartons since 1982. “READ THIS AGAIN”
