County cup champions!!!!

🚨 ⚽️ FULL TIME ⚽️ 🚨 Another game played in absolutely horrendous weather conditions, but the Reserves battled through to earn a crucial point against a very good Dukinfield side. A tough game where both teams had to dig deep, and in the end the points were shared. #UpTheAlts

🚨 ⚽️ FULL TIME ⚽️ 🚨 In a game that probably shouldn’t have even been on with Storm Boelo battering Manchester, the lads had to dig deep! We found ourselves 2-0 down, but showed unbelievable character, fight and togetherness to battle our way back and take all 3 points!

🚨 ⚽️ FULL TIME ⚽️ 🚨 Non-stop graft from everyone, playing with intensity and refusing to let our heads drop. Five goals later and we finally get a win against one of the best sides around.A massive result and a performance to be proud of. #UpTheAlts

🚨 ⚽️ FULL TIME ⚽️ 🚨 Old Alts thirds 2–3 @fittonhillrangers The lads are getting more comfortable with each other every week, and you can see things starting to fall into place. Plenty of positives to take from pushing the league leaders all the way. #UpTheAlts

🚨 ⚽️ FULL TIME ⚽️ 🚨 FULL TIME | OLD ALTS 3 – 2 @stockportgeorgiansfc RES A hard-fought 3-2 win in a game where we had to dig deep right until the final whistle. Plenty of character shown and, most importantly, we got the job done. #UpTheAlts

⚽️ FULL TIME ⚽️ 🚨 FULL TIME | @manchester_rovers 1 – 1 Old Alts Thirds A frustrating 1–1 draw for the thirds today. On another day we score four or five with the chances we created, but it just wouldn’t quite fall for us. #upthealts

🚨 ⚽️ FULL TIME ⚽️ 🚨 FULL TIME | Old Alts First Team 6 – 2 @eltonvalefc Exactly the response we wanted after last week’s defeat. Great to bounce back with six goals, some quality football and a much-improved performance all round. #UpTheAlts

🚨 ⚽️ FULL TIME ⚽️ 🚨 FULL TIME | @swintonfc_1stteam 3 – 3 Old Alts thirds A really even game could have gone either way but we are happy with the point. #upthealts

🚨 ⚽️ FULL TIME ⚽️ 🚨 FULL TIME | Reserves 5–1 Manchester Corinthians ⚽️ A slow start saw us fall 1–0 behind, but a few tweaks to the set-up and the lads soon started moving through the gears. We took control, created plenty and, most importantly, started taking our chances.

🚨 ⚽️ FULL TIME ⚽️ 🚨 FULL TIME | @moorsiderangers 3–1 Old Alts A tough place to go at any point in the season, and today Moorside simply wanted it more. Defeats were always going to come stepping up into the Prem, it’s all about how we respond to them. #upthealts

🚨 ⚽️ FULL TIME ⚽️ 🚨 FULL TIME | OLD ALTS THIRDS 5–3 BAGULEY DEVELOPMENT ⚽️ A promising 5–3 win for the thirds as things really start to fall into place with just two weeks to go until the season gets underway. All the best to Baguely for the season👏🏽 #upthealts

🚨 ⚽️ FULL TIME ⚽️ 🚨 FULL TIME | OLD ALTS RESERVES 6–1 UNI OF MANCHESTER A brilliant 6–1 win for the reserves against a good Uni of Manchester side. Their set-up caused us a few problems early on and forced us to tweak things tactically, then came the goals! #upthealts

🚨 ⚽️ FULL TIME ⚽️ 🚨 FULL TIME | ATHERTON TOWN 1–3 OLD ALTS A slow start from the lads today, probably feeling the effects of the games coming thick and fast. A few tweaks at half-time saw us come out a different side, and getting a deserved win #upthealts
