Heartwarming, and a superb testament to parenthood of all who have had to work from home whilst parenting their children at the same time. Well done and thank you!❤️

Awww...Y6, such lovely replies that have brought a tear to my eye as you will all be leaving us this year to face new challenges. 😢I will definitely send you all a reply very soon. I, too, am also really excited about Eid. Can’t wait! 🥳
...and here are some more replies to your postcard @schoolimprover! The children loved reading your postcard and are intrigued to know what you have been up to!

Our children do not fail to amaze us @OliveTreeBolton. We asked our EYFS S’s to play shop at home with their families and they didn’t disappoint. Technology really allows us to be apart of their life even when we can’t physically @EYFSandMore @eyfsmatters #HomeLearningUK

...likewise, a big ‘THANK YOU’ to all the Y6 children for sharing your thoughts & feelings about learning from home during the lockdown. It’s great to know you feel enthused & happy - especially given the circumstances! Please keep working hard & sharing your feelings.❤️
Thank you @schoolimprover my children were really pleased that you had written to them. 📝 Thought you would like to read some of their replies. #theolivetreeprimary #homelearning

Continued...This is testament to the hard work of our staff / parents / pupils for making our online learning system work so successfully. It did make me chuckle though that some children described the lockdown as a ‘holiday’! #homelearning

There is no set date for schools to reopen. Schools will remain closed to most until scientific advice indicates it is right to reopen and the five tests set out to beat this virus have been met.
Headteacher retweeted
Whilst we are all keen to resume normality as soon as possible, in terms of schools fully opening, it is unhelpful to speculate otherwise on the basis of inaccurate media reports. #StayHome #StayAtHomeAndStaySafe
Headteacher retweeted
No decision has been made on a timetable for re-opening schools. Schools remain closed until further notice, except for children of critical workers and the most vulnerable children.
Schools will only re-open when the scientific advice indicates it is the right time to do so.

Big thanks to @OliveTreeBolton staff who are in school to take care of the children of key workers. Also really pleased to see parents have heeded the Government advice by keeping children at home, where possible. #StayAtHome #StaySafeStayHome #StayHomeSaveLives
