I know a forensic accountant making a killing by investigating various Nigerian banks for excessive charges on companies with high transaction volumes. You guys have no idea how big this thing is. If you are doing huge volumes and using bank loans/debt, chances are Nigerian banks are eating you good outside what's legal. The funny part is that once they show the banks their dossier, they hardly argue. It's always "You don catch us, oya make we negotiate"
He made a transfer of ₦25,000 from his Sterling Bank account, but there was a problem and the transaction did not go through. The following day, the bank reversed the ₦25,000, but they forgot to refund the ₦50 stamp duty fee. 😂 That was why his lawyer sent them a letter, warning that they would take legal action if the money was not refunded. Now, they have refunded the money and even sent him a letter of apology. 🤣🤣.
