I’m reaching out in our greatest time of need. As hard as it is to ask for help, we have a short amount of time left, and I am trying my best to make sure she knows we’ll all be ok when she’s gone. If you can help, please do. Thank you.

I’m going to annoy everyone with how pretty I think Seattle is in the fall. :)
Is defense back in the NBA or are offenses just bad? There's some crazy box scores happening right now and I can't tell if it's just shot variance or what.
LeBron James has stood for the national anthem no less than 1600 times in his life. He's probably spent somewhere in the neighborhood of 55 hours of his life standing for America just so he can play a BASKETBALL GAME. This is all so stupid.

I have an Allen Bailey story.
My wife and I lived in the River Market in Kansas City from 2013-16, and our loft shared a wall with Allen Bailey’s apartment.
He always smiled, always said hi. He was a giant human being.
We owned a Boston Terrier named Wrigley, who Allen really liked. The dog was ultra-hyper, but we loved him.
One day after work, I came home and couldn’t find Wrigley in our apartment. I looked everywhere, I yelled for him. Then I hear a booming voice from next door. “HEY HE OVER HERE”
Turns out the maintenance man had been in our apartment (scheduled maintenance) and had unknowingly let our dog out into the common foyer area.
I go out of my apartment and Allen meets me, holding Wrigley. With a big smile, he says “I found him out here. Thought about just keeping him and not telling y’all.”
Was really sad to see the news. I didn’t know the guy well by any means, but he genuinely seemed like a great guy.
RIP.
I wish there was a stat for this but there's a good chance that's the first time LeBron James has ever been boo'd by a home crowd in his entire life
Actually insane and unbelievably fucked up
The Knicks' assistant coaches did not receive their championship rings during Tuesday's ceremony, despite being handed ring boxes, according to league sources.
Many longtime employees at Madison Square Garden will not receive rings at all, per team sources.
Those employees got their hopes up in late September, when they were sent a fake championship ring offer as part of a phishing test.
