We want to thank Coach Dave Doeren (@StateCoachD) for the 14 years of dedication, service, and effort he poured into our University and our football program.
Coach Doeren raised the expectations of @PackFootball, created countless #PackPros, developed hundreds of young people & leaders, navigated an ever-changing #NIL era with grace & ease, and won the most games in #NCState Football's history. Not to mention, he and his family have displayed extraordinary generosity toward our University in support of the greater good.
It's with a mixture of gratitude and sadness that we bid Dave farewell, but wish him the best on his next step, as we know football is just one part of his life's journey as a man, leader, husband, father, and more.
Thank you, Dave. It's been a heck of a ride. You will always be a member of #WPN.

I see there’s a lot of hate going around on social media for Coach Dave Doeren I’ve known the guy for 14 years. I’ve been around his program and he’s always treated me and my family with the upmost respect. Also, I want to thank him for 14 years with the Wolfpack🐺

OUR TAKE: NC State gave us almost everything we wanted to see in a 130-66 rout of Lenoir-Rhyne. 🐺
We graded the 7 things we were watching:
1️⃣ The Kyle Evans bounce-back
2️⃣ Darius Adams as a playmaker
3️⃣ Preston Edmead staying on the floor
4️⃣ More Mikey Wilkins
5️⃣ Dominating the glass
6️⃣ Taking care of the ball
7️⃣ A new era of NC State defense
Five passed. Two didn't. See our grades 👇

I say this as a naive lifelong State fan: I wholeheartedly believe this program can be something special.
There is no reason this can’t be the premier program in NC and an expanded playoff contender
But we’ve got to have a tremendous sense of urgency in what we do next

Thank you Coach Doeren for believing in our son and giving him his shot. The Sowells family will be forever grateful!!

This morning I said I'd rather see Darius Adams get 10 assists than 20 points.
He finished with 9 assists and zero turnovers. Edmead added 8 more. McNeil feasted. Evans looked like himself. The home crowd finally got to see what we've been raving about.
Gainey talked about it here...
NC State 130, Lenoir-Rhyne 66 🐺
Gainey's first home game didn't count, but it sure looked good.
🔥 67% from the field, 14 threes, 34-of-38 at the line
🎯 Adams + Edmead: 17 assists, 1 turnover combined
🩺 Gainey's update on why Shaw Hall didn't play
