We are a new project to promote Open Content for Latin, especially learning resources. More at openlatin.org
If you want a bit of Latin chat, you can try colloquium.social/ - our new Mastodon node for Latinists everywhere!
We’ve joined the #Fediverse! (Again, as it goes …)
Find us at colloquium.social/@lingualat… — and btw Latin, Greek and Classics folks can sign up there as well! #Mastodon

Roman road digitization process in the eastern part of the Roman Empire in context of MINERVA project (@tombrughmans @UrbNet1) is going well (almost 45,000 km!). We covered Levant, Egypt and Libya. Cyprus, you're next! #romanroads #romanarchaeology
Exactly the right approach! Make the data open, and everyone can use it. Imagine integration with @Wikipedia, @Wikidata and @openstreetmap for instance.
It will eventually be released as an open online gazetteer and database (together with @paudsoto Viator-E project), so from there further integration with other datasets will be possible I imagine. But we are not there yet.

Any #python people out there willing to help us with a Wikimedia video » Peertube importer, to help grab descriptions, license and subtitles etc?
Peertube uses youtube-dl for import, and need an extractor file added to explain where this info is:

Which digital Neo-Latin editions do you know of? We've got the Camena Corpus (mateo.uni-mannheim.de/camena…), CroaLa (croala.ffzg.unizg.hr/), a series of editions @hab_wf (hab.de/digitale-editionen/), the Philologicam Museum (philological.bham.ac.uk/, html-edition unfortunately), (1/n)
