Hi Caroline. You should be able to DM now.
We have now been told that there is not yet a safe solution to bring the service back online - so please follow this account and DM for us to setup your CC address for inbound email as a temporary option.

We think we have the safest route out planned for returning to live service so we aim for this to be done tonight. Sorry for the long interruption its been a judgement between safe service access and being quick.

We have 3 software devs and US support working on it now. We have no reliable time for fix yet.

We are currently experiencing a problem with most email services at present. This is after a zero day exploit security patch failed. We are working hard to rectify this with the platform software specialists. We will update here on Twitter as soon as we can.
If you're a customer of ours you'll have received an email about the upcoming server switchover.
This is a genuine email from us and requires your action.
Please get in touch if you have any queries. Thanks.
Apple users might be experiencing problems sending email this morning. We believe this is to do with updates to relating to the 4 live zero day attacks on Apple products at the moment, which can affect Apple mail and ios clients.
Just to let you know that we are now reluctantly blocking all .cyou TLD emails after we could not find a single recent valid email. 100% spam! If this affects you, please let us know.
Please ignore any messages of this nature and contact your recipient through a means other than email to notify them that SpamCop.net is down and that this will affect their incoming email from all domains. 2/2
Some of our customers may find emails they have sent are being rejected due to being on a SpamCop.net blacklist. This is due to the recipient depending on SpamCop.net which is currently down and NOT a sign you have been blacklisted. 1/2
