The Whirlpool Galaxy (M51) was first sketched and named by the 3rd Earl of Rosse @BirrCastle in the 1840s. Nowadays, we can see stars and extensive spiral arms with telescope such as @HUBBLE_space @NASAHubble and @LOFAR
